Even the ceiling is filthy with dirty dust hanging down over the food and the burrito maker/ grill.You gotta wonder about the staff here who are obviously okay with these conditions? Do they shower and are their homes like this? ScaryRidiculous wait times, staff running around, switching places, four different people touched our food.The quality of the ingredients is seriously in decline- I picked all the “steak” off of my burrito and threw it away.This place was a favorite of mine for 20 years and I will never return.

Something was wrong with the hot salsa, completely sour, no heat just tasted like lime juice. We couldn’t eat our food since we both ordered that salsa.I’ve also dined in there several times and the staff are rude, treats customers like we are an inconvenience, wait time is really long, etc. The only staff member I’ve ever encountered that was polite was the female manager.

We stopped at the 1st Ave location about 2:25 pm today 3/10/24 and waited in line for about 5 or 6 min. 3 people behind the counter, not one of them acknowledged us and another customer said the water was stock at the fountain, the employee responded with ok. We left after waiting and absolute lack of customer service from any of the employees. This location is and has been going down hill for a long time. The ambition of the employees there is a shame.

I was in there an hour the general manager was yelling & cussing out the other employees, beating on the register, throwing food at the door dashers and customers. I see why all of the employees are ALWAYS so miserable because look at who’s supposed to be a leader being so immature & childish.
Last time I will go to pancheros everytime I go there the employees are arguing an yelling at eachother and they mean mug all there customers, atleast hire people with some social skills.
