I just went through the drive through. there was a car pulled ahead waiting for their order when i pulled up to the window. They were gone when the drive thru had me pull up.I pulled up, waited 15 mins. I get out of my car to go in. The person was bringing out bags for me and the car behind me. I asked about my drink. He went back in.After 2 minutes, I decided to leave. I wasn't waiting any more for my drink.I get home and the order was incorrect. The burger was not how i ordered it.i typically avoid wendys in the cedar rapids area when there is more than 2 vehicles waiting in the drive thru because they typically are so slow.After spending $13 on a medium fry and a double burger, considering the wait time, and then not getting a drink without having to wait who knows how long, and then finding out my order was wrong when i got home, I would like a refund. Not a store credit or a gift card.

Ordered 2 Dave's single cheese burgers with just ketchup and onion and extra cheese and when I got home to eat the burgers were dry like they were cooked over an hour prior to me ordering so from now on I'll ask for everything cooked to order. I'll try that before determining if I'll ever return to that place. This is my opinion so establish your own opinion and enjoy!
Through reading other reviews, it doesn't seem like this will come as a shock - As far as friendliness goes, this is by far the worst place of business you could visit.The employees are extremely rude and incompetent.

This Wendy's is basically what you expect out of a fast food place. I went through drive-thru and the people didn't seem to understand what I was asking. Didn't seem to be very concerned. I got my food quickly and it tasted what I expected fast food to taste like. I gave it a three because of fast food places are are basically a three at their best.

Employees seem rude and incapable of getting any orders correct. Its as if the goal is to repeatedly get your order wrong and if they come close to getting it right they still manage to forget your fries, nuggets or if its a dine in or to go order...ect. it is insane. This 1st ave location has to be bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer satisfaction. ts a dirty uninviting place to dine..that is all.
