Wish I'd taken a picture, because words won't do it justice! Had what I would say is the "Best Cheeseburger in Iowa" along with a full serving of onion rings and a can of barley pop. Food came out piping hot and full of flavor. The onion rings were crispy and the cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, done throughout, but juicy as could be. Very friendly, accomodating owner and manager! Lots of beer & mixed drinks to choose from. The atmosphere is great and varies depending on the time of day and clientel, which is very nice compared to the same ole', same ole'!Features: I just love visiting with my homes at Gordies!

Celebrating birthdays, and we heard Gordies offered a good breakfast and lunch. Our party of four stopped in andwere greeted by a friendly server. We tried a variety; one chose breakfast, the others' tenderloin, burgers, fries, and onion rings. Great food served hot, and the waiter kept our glasses filled and made sure we had what we needed. Thank you for giving us the home town treatment.
