Breaded n fried portabella mushrooms were amazing. The NOLA burger was huge and delicious ? and the Rancher burger was great too. The BBQ sauce had a special umami flavor and 2 big onion rings! Service was fast n friendly too. Definitely recommend.

The crab Rangoon egg rolls are really good. The burgers are not. They claim they are smashed burgers. They are the furthest from smash burgers. The waitress said they were 1/4 which would make one believe it would be a double knowing how thin a smash burger is. They said they were singles so I got a double. The burger was the thickest greyest patty I have gotten in a long time. Maybe 3/4” thick and broke apart. It was cooked too long but yet had zero crust. It also had zero seasoning. The bacon was very undercooked and floppy. You want crispy bacon on a burger. This was like if it was boiled. This review is going to hopefully help the new establishment get better cause their burgers need a lot of help
I ate here twice on a work trip to Centerville. The food was cold the first time and I got to play "what drink will they bring out this time" every time I ordered the same drink. The second time I ate there, the food lacked flavor and my bun was soggy and they were having some sort of staffing issues that they let the whole bar know about. The second time at least the bartender kept my soda full.

Rolled into Centerville for the first time just after 1 with a hunger from the drive from Lincoln. We came across the Pit Pony and ordered a beer and a chopped steak sandwich from a friendly and attentive waitress who was knowledgeable about the menu and the beer. We at at the window in front and thoroughly enjoyed our hot meal and a few cold beers while the people we were there to visit trickled in over the next hour or so. Memory has that as the best part of our trip from Colorado to Centerville. Thanks for the good food, drink and memories Pit Pony Pub!

The food was excellent. Customer service was awful. One of the ladies working at the bar didn't know the varieties of wine, they never checked to see if I needed more or another drink, and the food took a very long time to be prepared. It wasn't busy. The food, was, however, delicious.

Finally made it from Chicago to the Pit Pony Pub & Eatery!!! Was NOT disappointed!!! Drinks, Food, servers and atmosphere was outstanding!!!! Went there twice out of my 4 day stay! Had the roasted red pepper with Gouda cheese wonderful. Also the burger was done to perfection with the bacon jam….to die for! From salads to BLT to the tenderloin sandwich NONE of us were dissatisfied. Will definitely be making the trip again!! Thank you all for an outstanding visit!! ❤️
