“Always one of my first places to visit when I visit family in Iowa. I love the chicken and potato burritos along with the potato ole with cheese dip. Not healthy at all but completely worth the calories. Service has always been very friendly and the establishment is always very clean“
“They have gotten a lot betterOld review from 2020:This is an older, shabby location off highway 59. Not a problem for me personally, but what is a problem for me is the service. They'll say you have to wait because they're making your burger, but when you get it it's cold. Or they forget your drink at the drive through because they were yelling at each other and then imply you're trying to scam a free soda when you ask for it. Or they forget your napkins, or straw. And this place, unlike others in the area, hasn't figured out that ugly people are still people. I get it, I look like a freak show, but at least Taco John's and McDonald's can hide their sneers and shivers of revulsion until after I leave.Not a ding on this location specifically, but the onion rings at Dairy Queen leave a lot to be desired.“
“I ordered a pizza to be delivered, and asked if they had thin crust. They told me that they hand toss all of their crust, and I asked would you please make sure they tossed it as thin as possible ... And they did. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time! Thank you very much“
“Fastest McDonald’s ever! There were 4 cars in front of me At the drive thru. Within 5 minutes of arriving behind the cars, I was back on the road! Never seen this at the dozens of McDonald’s I went to in about 6 states. Good to know that 1/100 visits to a McDonald’s reflects the mindset of “if we get paid more, we will work harder.”“
“Kudos to the three staff members who were working on 8/16 around 6pm for their professional handling of a customer who was behaving in an intimidating and completely unacceptable manner because she was upset that fresh mozzarella has an upcharge. They deserve recognition for having much better behavior than the middle aged bully they were stuck dealing with.“
