I used to love Long John Silver Chicken. Came to Clinton Iowa and had a 2 piece Chicken. The flavor of the chicken was awful.I don't know what changed but would not recommend at all. The best part of the meal was the hushpuppies. Travel photographer from Galena.

Cold dried out chicken. I ordered a "family" meal with six pieces of chicken. I was supposed to have four sides. Well, they were the individual size. So for a "family," each person might get a tablespoon of each side. This place is ridiculous. Definitely not the quality that Weaver Enterprises used to be.

Service was ok-it was almost a struggle to get fish (the individual didn't seem like they wanted to "dirty" the clean fryer. ) they asked several times if we really wanted the fish as it would take some time. (I think it was 8 minutes) However, It was hot when it came out!The chicken, on the other hand, was tiny, warm, and dry. My 83 year old dad wouldn't even eat it. The mashed potatoes were luke warm - again, not even enough for my dad to eat.Be careful, I went during lunchtime thinking it would all be fresh & hot .. that was my mistake.On the flip - the fish, & hush puppies, once I received it, were very good.

Ordered two 3 piece chicken and one 2 piece chicken. I didn't pay for the 2 piece until I went in, however, they gave me fish the first time. Went inside, and they told me I'm looking at it wrong and that it's chicken. (It wasn't) then they gave me a 2 piece fish when I specified I only wanted chicken. Told me I wasn't clear at the drive-thru nor in person. I apologized for any miscommunication and was willing to repay for the correct food. I was told I couldn't order additional hushpuppies despite getting them in my meal because they didn't have any at all. Frustrated and can't eat what they gave me because I did. Not. Order. It. But it's my fault for their hearing problems. The photo is the fish they claimed to be chicken.

This is the restaurant you in the past would eat at when u was Abt broke had a few bucks In ur pocket. Not cuz the food was good cuz u was hungry n they were cheap. No more $1 menu no more cheap anything. Food sucks now days. Service sucks now days. N now I paid $17.06 for a double quarter pounder with cheese meal. Replaced my drink with a med frappe. Frys now days always suck and cold. Which I end up always giving to my dogs. 2 out of 3 items was ok. Mcd u'll need to remember people are with y'all cuz u had good Fry's cheap food. Smdh y'all need to either step ur game up ten fold or drop ur prices cuz people are getting tired of y'all forgetting ur place. Cheap fast food not good fast food u pay extra for.
