Easily one of the best restaurants in town. They have the best pizza in a three hour radius. Hamburgers and spaghetti are also top notch and an awesome salad bar.My parents took us here as a kid and as a 30-something adult I drove my wife here from the Quad Cities just to have her try the food. One of the best places in eastern Iowa and western Illinois and worth a stop if you are remotely near Clinton.
This was our first time eating here, and unfortunately likely the last. The salad bar was great, everything was very fresh, the croutons were great, and the homemade chips were delicious. Though the bread that the waitress brought out was okay, it was cold, like it had been in the refrigerator or freezer. I ordered the Pasta and Seafood. It was box penne pasta, imitation crab, garlic, and olive oil, a lot of oil. The bottom of the plate was filled with oil, so much that it covered the pasta. The menu stated it was surimi seafood (not a term I was familiar with) with a butter, garlic, Romano cheese, and parsley sauce. My husband ordered Pasta Carbonara and received strips of canned ham, imitation bacon bits, in a semi-creamy sauce. The menu described it as strips of smoked pork loin and fresh bacon, neither was the case. We ordered a small pizza to go, and as much as we hoped it would save the experience, it was burnt. The décor is terribly dated and in poor condition, dusty and in places damaged, and there is a lack of ambience. I know this restaurant was amazing in it's day, but something clearly happened. I'm sad to leave this review, hopefully they improve.

Very good restaurant. Had a decent salad bar that comes with your dinner. Dinner portions are large and I liked the bread. Only problem is the service. Very slow but nice people.

Love the atmosphere the waitress didn't come back to see if everything was OK or to clear dirty plates. We had a reservations for a large party. Food, well I've had better but you do get a good amount of food for the price. Love the bread at the table yummy! My daughter loved the beef ravioli, my sister enjoyed her steak, dad said his catfish was good could have gotten the large order instead of the small order of catfish.
Order a sausage, mushroom,onion pizza, they gave it to another table,they said not what they ordered so he ask if we ordered a sausage and mushroom, said yes,layed it on our table and left,realized there was no mushrooms on the pizza,after waiting a few minutes till are server came back around to tell him are pizza not what we ordered, no mushrooms !! I said just take it back and put mushrooms on it put it back in oven for a few minutes and that would be fine!! He comes back with the same pizza minis the mushrooms said this one we can have and they'll make us a new one waited and waited ate a few pieces of the pizza finally told the kid to just bring a to go bx and bill !! Never did see a Pizza we ordered!! And yes there was no tip !!! Gotta say I been eating your pizza's for over 50 years and never had a bad time or pizza!!!

Very nice salad bar. Had meat ravioli that was good. Sauce seemed a bit plain but was adequate. Pizza looked great.

The atmosphere was nice. Lots of separate areas so even when busy you didn't feel like it. The salad bar was fine. Lettuce salad with all the toppings a couple pasta salads. The fresh fruit and bread pudding was nice. The bread seemed house made. That was good. Large amount of food options. I got pasta carbonara. It has big hunks of pork in it. It felt prepackaged and just mediocre. Maybe other options would be better. It felt like they went for bigger portions rather than quality portions. The plates were plastic which felt weird for the price and style of the place. Overall it was fine.Parking: There is a small lot and street parking but would be difficult at peak times or during an event as they have an event center next door.
