My family of 4 came here on a Friday night for dinner, it was our first time and it was very busy which is always a good sign. We were added to the waitlist and it was only about 15 minute wait til we were seated. Our server was amazing. She was on top of our refills. The margaritas are excellent, and the salsas and beans that come with the chips are by far the best we’ve had. Our food came out all at once and was fresh and delicious. We will be back! My friend and I decided to try Mi Mexico for the first time. The restaurant was warm and inviting when we entered. We were seated promptly in a cozy booth near the bar. It was quiet, and the lighting was perfect. The salsa was the best I have had in a while! Love the garlic you can taste in it and it has the perfect kick, which the bean dip balances out. I got the chicken fajita burrito combo. As well as a tamale. The burrito was so filling, the rice and beans delicious, and the slaw was a nice touch! The meat of the Tamale was so well seasoned and the masa was moist! Overall was just a great, comforting experience. ☺️

The portions very large portions were not only fresh but delicious. The wait staff were more than attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this stop in the West Des Moines area.

Wonderful food & great staff. The only issue was the chemical used to sanitize the cups left my water tasting bleachy. This was the only issue everything else was clean & service was amazing.

The food here is very good, and the service is friendly and attentive. The portions are large, and there is a good variety of vegetarian options. We enjoy the chips and salsas that come with the meal. There is a great variety of margarita flavors. The Jalapeño Margarita is spicy but great.Parking: Parking is close to the entrance. Many spots.Kid-friendliness: Kids manu.
