Good, but slightly disappointing. To start with the good: thick cut bacon, fresh squeezed orange juice, mimosa, latte and pulled pork all deserve 5 stars. The not-so-good: Service - the service was moderate at best. We waited a long time to get drinks and order food, and they never came back to check on us. We had to ask another server for our check. I ordered one soft poached egg in addition to avocado toast. The server came back to verify the add on, and I ended up with two hard poached eggs. Food - I ordered the avocado toast because the charred corn caught my attention. Unfortunately, it came out with ice cold canned corn. Overall St Kilda is worth the visit but set your expectations.

We went for brunch for the first time, and it was fabulous! The servers are friendly and helpful in recommending dishes and accommodating to taste preferences. The food was incredible. We shared the mushroom toast, and as someone who is usually neutral for mushrooms, I went back for seconds. The breakfast sandwich was a great mix of sweet and savory. The little hash brown on the side was probably the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was a little loud, so may be difficult for older individuals to hear conversation. I even struggled a little with this. But I would highly recommend overall!

First time here. The food was delicious. One of the wait staff was rather flat, the other two were more engaging. Beverages could have been better. Note... I drink hot tea... I thought they would have tea pots... No. So a tad disappointing. Would I come back? Yes.

Food was great, fresh, delicious, great presentation. The only thing, when I asked for dessert menu, they said they run out of sweet pastries, only savory left. Seriously? Saturday at noon?

why would you guy get rid of something that was your most popular item on the menu and bring in a burger lol the crispy pork belly was awesome and now instead of that crispy pork belly you get a burger like from wendy’s dosent make

The item that I came to order is no longer on the menu- salmon and poached egg on a corn fritter- a world class combination made perfectly which made this brunch restaurant truly exceptional. The food that I settled on was good although I’ll have to think about how two poached eggs started at the same time have one hard yolk and one perfect yolk.

My sister in law (who lives close by) suggested this restaurant and I'm glad she did! I just had the mushroom toast and man was it good! Ive never seen that offered on a menu before so I had to try it...and I'm glad I did. Super nice staff too, so they definitely get a 5 start review from me.

St.Kilda is an authentic representation of Aussie cafe culture. From the modern interior to the great coffee. We arrived without a reservation and were able to immediately sit at the bar where we were warmly greeted. The food was excellent as was the service. Our bartender gave us a sample of her made-fresh special Bloody Mary mix to insure we liked it before ordering. Just enough spice but she was happy to add more to taste. Classy! The breakfast sandwich was delicious especially the slightly spicy bacon jam. I loaded up on Aussie pies at PieMates next door and they held them in the freezer until we finished brunch. Can't wait to try the CRIKEY Traditional meat pie! I can highly recommend the coffee, especially the Flat White. It would stand among any Aussie cafe competition. (and competition is fierce in the country that created that drink). Can't wait to go back this Aussie gem.

Just delicious food. I had the shrimp tacos my daughter the falafel bowl. Both were so good we shared. The only thing I would have changed was more food on our plates. The details with added elements to add flavor and visual interest were noted and appreciated. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent food.Great service.Clean aesthetic. It does get echoey inside when there are a lot of people. It shouldn’t be a problem for anyone with average hearing abilities though.Dietary restrictions: Dairy-free friendly

Very tasty chai latte, not too hot to drink, and nice toast with smoked salmon, etc. The cafe is pretty and minimalistic but voices carry so it's kinda loud. And though I liked what I had, the smashed peas were a bit simple considering how many I received. The breakfasts I saw my neighbors eating smelled super good! Would go back to try other dishes. The staff were doing a good job, especially with how busy it was. My friend ended up not being able to meet me, so I asked for my food to go so as not to hog the table. (A line of couples were waiting for one to open up.) The staff got my food and ticket out to me quickly! Hope the rest of the day went smoothly.
