“I've been here twice this week, (don't judge me) Ordered birria tacos, comes with 3 tacos, both times along with Spanish rice. Delicious, the Spanish rice is the best in the area! The staff is awesome, so friendly! I will definitely be back. I can't offer pictures as I've devoured them so quickly both times.“

There wasn’t much left when they were done.My husband got the carne asada taco bowl and devoured the whole thing. That you can choose what toppings you want with it instead of it being a one item fits all.We also decided to get the three dips appetizer (salsa, guacamole and queso). The queso was incredibly good! The guacamole was very fresh but had a little too much lime flavor. I still ate all of it. The salsa was also fresh and served well as a topping rather than a stand alone with chips. I loved that the chips were fresh, crunchy and not too salty.The other side we got was the street corn and this was probably my favorite thing I ate. Creamy, cheesy, a little kick. Absolutely yes.I would highly recommend getting some aqua fresca with your meal as well. Wow! I got the pineapple and would go back just for that.We ended the meal with some churros. They are filled with what I believe to be dulche de leche and I wish I could eat these every day.So glad we decided to stop here for lunch! We ended up spending over $90 (much more than typical for us with a lunch meal) but the food was worth it.Parking: Lots of available spots and easy enough to get to.Kid-friendliness: They don’t have a lot of options but my kids loved the tacos and already want to go back!“
“First time being at this restaurant, and it was definitely not a disappointment. Had my brothers birthday there and the food was great and our waitress was fantastic. I wanted to mention her, but I can’t remember her name and can’t find my receipt. She was super, I was going to get up to get something we needed (a couple times) and out of the blue she shows up bringing it already, she is on top of the game, just a great server. They have the place decorated nicely however, I think they could get into a little bigger place, it was a little loud, but our party was a little part of that. We had a great time! But I think they would do awesome in a little bigger place. ?“
“I haven’t had amazing tacos since I was in Brooklyn 2 years ago. I have been on the hunt since my favorite place to go closed during the first surge of Covid. I try new taco places at least 2 times a week, and each has been a disappointment. I am super picky about my Al Pastor, especially. This place has me believing in good tacos again. 100 % recommend this place.“

“My girlfriend and I had the amazing opportunity at eating at El burrito loco tonight and we are by far incredibly impressed with not only the quality of food but also the quality of the service. They have by far the best horchata in the Des Moines area, they also provide this other that's made out of hibiscus flower it's incredibly delicious. As far as meals go I had their signature El burrito loco which is by far the best burrito I've had in the morning. My girlfriend on the other hand has one of each their tacos that they offer and was incredibly impressed with each taco particularly the carnitas. I most certainly know where I'm going when I'm craving burritos. Unfortunately I could not provide photos because I was too busy devouring this burrito ??“
