Man, I always eat here because the cheese steak sandwich is always so freaking good.But I have always thought that the service is terrible ?, the work environment looks very toxic, and the Asian looking lady, the one that seems to be the manager/owner is always in bad mood, You can tell by her face and how she speaks to the employees and to you!! HahahaThe other day she scolded me because she was busy when I asked for a straw for my beverage ?Man, I hope she doesn't read this or she'll scold me again. LMAO.Again, really awesome sandwiches, only reason I keep buying there

Overall a pretty good experience. I had to explain my order several times to the guy at the register, but I'd rather do that than get the wrong thing. And they did it right. It's a little pricey for what you get, especially the Ultimate Fries, which are nothing all that special. But, it was good.

I have bought these sandwiches for years and have received good service, but today the cashier was crabby when I asked for something and the person who made the sandwich was crabby. She also put my sandwich in a dirty styrofoam container that had some kind of weird orange sauce on it. It was gross.Parking: Can be difficult to find parking.

My favorite place to get sandwiches in the area. My friend and I always make room to stop by this Charley’s whenever we’re in Iowa City/Coralville. The customer service is very friendly (heck, one time the cashier had asked one of my friends how their family was doing) and the food comes out in a timely matter.The Philly Cheesesteaks and the gourmet fries are excellent. The cheesesteak always comes with: a generous serving of steak, fresh toppings, and a nice toasty French roll. The gourmet fries come out piping hot and they don’t skimp on the cheese sauce.All in all this is a great place to stop by and get yourself a solid cheesesteak. They run a tight ship and the care they put into their process shows in the food.
Ordered to go, was ready on time and easy to pickup inside the mall. Only critique would be the bread- taste and quality could use improvement. 2 thumbs up!

I've been eating here for years and while the flavor is always good...there is significantly less meat than there used to be. This makes what used to be slightly high prices, very high for what you get (now that meat portions are barely there). That being said I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak & almost forgot to take a picture before I ate it all. Also pictured is the Chicken California. They do have a Rewards Program that doles out $2 off coupons fairly regularly. Honestly, if it wasn't for that I don't think we'd be back because after all it is supposed to be a Steak/Chicken Sandwich...

First timer! Food definitely not good, no flavor and meat dry, super small portion in general for the cost but also such small portions of meat in sandwiches. Not worth the price AT ALL. Won’t be returning.
