Things have changed so much. fried eggs were crispy, bacon had a bad taste. The store was not clean. Very disappointing.

I ordered carryout because I was on my way to the hospital to go stay with my daughter. I took a quick glance into the bag just to make sure my order was fine. Once I got to the hospital and opened my container, it was something green and stringy in my eggs, two overcooked small triangles of ham, and the hashbrowns were heavily greasy and cooked into the shape of a hashbrown patty the size of the ones you get from McDonald's but flattened. This was my first time visiting this location, and out of all the IHOP's I've ever been to, I've never received food like this. I'm not sure if it was because my order was takeout that the food was lackluster, but I ended up just throwing the food away and chalked it up as a bad 1st time experience. At least the good was hot and ready on time lol but that's about it.

We had to wait forever for our food. There wasn't very many people there, so I don't know what the problem was. There was green specks on my toast. I'm not sure if it was mold or something else we couldn't even eat the crêpes, because there was a very unusual Taste.. The food tasted, spoiled. The cleanliness is disgusting here. The waitress told us that they are all underpaid...I'm not sure why she felt like she needed to tell me that? It looks like a seven-year-old painted this restaurant and there's rips all over the seats and food all over the place and garbage all over the floors.. After reading all these reviews, I didn't feel like there was even a need for me to leave one because I'm basically repeating what everybody else said.. No need for your automated message saying that you care and that you want to do better because you have said that to everybody that has had complaints and it seems like you are doing nothing.. Here's a good idea maybe pay your employees more and fix the place up? and your employees may do a better job and you'll have a better atmosphere. That's what I'm starting to think what you can do to fix this. Or maybe IHOP can't afford it... I thought IHOP was a chain and they would be able to afford such things but maybe I'm wrong.

My husband and I waited for over 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us or take our drink order. Multiple wait staff walked by our table and didn’t even say a word to us. We ended up leaving. Absolutely horrible!!

Hands down they absolute WORST place we have ever NOT eaten. Water damaged/missing ceiling tile one year after someone else posted on this. Completely torn booths, sunk down and sitting on wood. Dirty dishes sitting on tables for God knows how long. Service was SO SLOW to be seated and waited on. This was a Saturday at 6:00 pm. 5 tables occupied, 3 servers, should not be a problem you would think. Wrong! Out of onion rings that would go on the Cowboy Burger, no problem, I picked another burger, and my wife picked another burger. Ten minutes later we were informed that they were out of hamburger. We got up and left. Our server says to us as we are leaving, "well the next time you come in..." We both said, "there will never be a next time." Honestly, I would have rather sat down in a homeless encampment. Not only would it look nicer, they actually HAVE food. IHOP, please CLOSE this restaurant in Coralville, Iowa. It is a complete embarrassment to your company AND the community where it barely stands.
The table was sticky (dirty), they had no fruit toppings or cut fruit for any dish. So I ordered an omelet with mushrooms, tomatoes, and cheese. It showed up with a disgusting amount of nasty smelling onions throughout -couldn't eat it. The bathroom was filthy and only the cold water worked.

Table had crumbs and little red speck of something stuck to the table. Sunday morning till they're out of biscuits. So I changed my order ready for that and then they come out with my original order they magically found biscuits. First off enough gravy to cover one half of the biscuit so she brings another which was nice but they were both barely lukewarm. The young lady that served me did her job perfect. It was the rest of the place that dropped the ball. It'll take a lot for me to go back there again.
