Guy behind counter had on ipods (earbuds in both ears). Did not respond to my inquiry. Took boyfriend's order. Walked away into back room. Didn't ask what I wanted. Came back and just stood at counter looking at me. Took my order. Food was mediocre but food service area was immaculate.

They closed an hour early and the dude working was very rude, I enjoyed eating here on my trips to Iowa City but now I will never come back. 6/6/22

This place is a zoo every time i go in and the employees are so immature and rude. My 3 year old could provide better customer service. Theres 5 people “working” and just standing around talking/laughing about customers who just left their store. Childish. The pop fountain is covered in filth and who knows when its been “cleaned.” Never going back.

This is our favorite place to eat on the Coralville strip. My husband and I drive from CR at least 2-3 times a month. Friendly staff and good meal value. Only complaint is no sister shop in CR!

For a fast food place, this hands down beats the competition. The worker Monica was very attentive, and she did a great job explaining the menu. I will be back soon. If you haven't tried it, you are missing out.

This place is great! I really appreciate a restaurant that offers healthy choices. The pitas are awesome and the gluten free wrap is really good. They have awesome specialty pitas, which can be turned into a wrap, a quinoa brown rice bowl or a salad. The sauces are a plenty and interesting. Here's a tip, try the Shug mixture. I absolutely love their hummus. The staff are amazing. They are super friendly and attentive. They seem proud when you compliment them. I also like that they give suggestions.

This location is ok. Convenient, off the strip, and open on the daily (9-8PM) Has online ordering, delivery via CHOMP... even catering options. It's not even just pitas (like their name suggest) they do offer brown rice and quinoa bowls. As well as salad. They have a surprisingly extensive plant based menu -- falafel, beyond meat, black bean, hummus and veggie FTW. Definitely a solid spot for vegetarian and gluten-free ordering. While there are specialty pitas such as the Thai chicken or southwest fajita... I'd recommend sticking with the 'build your own' option. My kiddos are fans of the ham, while I personally stick with the club. Choose your pita (wheat, white, gluten free-- or make it a rice bowl or salad). You then add toppings which include veggies, cheese and sauces/spreads. BOOM. Everything you could want at a reasonable price. I was super fond of their downtown location back in the day-- and perhaps it was just the 'glory days' or college when everything I didn't have to cook tasted AMAZING-- but my last order here fell flat. I definitely recommend this over other 'healthy' sub chains in the area. If you want fresh, Pita Pit is a solid option.

My family and I stopped in here for lunch. The owner was extremely talkative and helpful. The portions were huge, my wife and daughter couldn't finish theirs.

Sad when the company has to blame there own management handling of employees to offer below sub par service.

Friendly and quick service! Healthier choice for fast food and yummy! Love the chicken souvlaki with tzatziki sauce!

Tried now 3 different times over 3 months to order from them online and their website doesn't work. I don't want to have to explain 3 complex pita orders over the phone. Too bad.
