“I agree with other reviewer. It is best place for pupusas. They're larger than other places I've tried and just a bit cheaper. They give you plenty of slaw and salsa. I also had corn tamal. It was good maybe a little dry but I ate cold probably better warm but my hotel room didn't have microwave. Also has plantains which were good too. Would recommend and definitely return for pupusas! It's also larger than other Salvadoran restaurants that I tried here with plenty of parking.“

“We live in Chicago and were passing by on our way back home from a road trip. We were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this place looking for subway. I am Salvadoran, born and raised in the states. I have been eating Pupusas all my life. These are by far the best Pupusas I've had in a long time. It's a truly authentic restaurant and in my opinion these are better pupusas than some I've had in El Salvador when I traveled there. They are big and filling. We had the "cheese & beans" and the "cheese & Loroco). My 8 yr old son was quite happy and didn't want to share his loroco and cheese Pupusas. He has an out of the ordinary diverse palate. We also ordered a side of plantains with beans and cream. Yum! I also ordered extras to go and share with family. They loved them as well. I plan to make the 2.5 hour trip back to get more Pupusas at some point. We don't have anything good here. To the owner: please consider opening a branch in Chicago or Chicago suburbs. Would highly appreciate! :)“

“Great addition to the Towncrest area! You can see the kitchen from the register, they keep it nice and clean. They give great portions, their rice is really good! I’m eating here twice in the same day - that’s extremely rare for me. Delicious through and through. I really have no complaints. The staff is extra friendly as well, very authentic experience. Going to be a new staple in my diet!“
