“Ben & Maddie took care of us. Our party had a flight of espresso martinis and each one got better. I recommend the Caramel Espresso Martini, it’s the best i’ve had so far.I think i can feel my heart fluttering and that might be strictly from their personality and hospitality.it’s the granite counter tops.“

“I haven't probably been here in about 12-13 years but daaaaaamn the food here is ???? seriously. This is actually the restaurant that opened up my tastes to Asian cuisine. I wish there were a location more local to me!!!Vegetarian options: They have a large selection of only vegetables to choose from that will fulfill your needs!!!“

“We love 30hops chipotle chicken tacos! However be aware they are in transition of switching menus and will be serving them on the brunch menu. Also recommend going in to eat instead of placing a to go order as cellular service is bad and makes placing a to go a bit of a hassle. Last night we ordered wings, sweet potato fries, and supposedly chipotle chicken tacos to go. Unfortunately they messed up our order the first time. (Instead of telling us they didn’t have those 2 options, they choose different items for us without asking) We weren’t told they didn’t have the wing flavor I wanted or chipotle chicken tacos till after we picked up our 2nd to go order. All in all Kate did her best to correct everything, apologized profusely, and voided our bill.“

“Not only is this the best meal in town, it’s the best in the state, if not some of the best in the country. This is better than any Michelin star restaurant we’ve been to. There is a reason people travel from all over the country to eat here. It’s that good. The fish is incredible every single time. he’s obviously absolutely perfected the crème brûlée over his career. It’s our favorite place to go when we want to ‘escape’ Iowa city for a bit and have an experience. This is someone at the top of their craft so you can’t miss it. The environment is beautiful but don’t let the ‘$$$$ French cuisine’ rating fool you - this is not a stuffy environment. What might be most remarkable about Chef David is that he’s this incredible talent but he could not be more humble. He does not walk around like a hot shot Chef-he’s right there having the dining experience with you while also giving you the most private dining experience you might ever have. Expect him to talk to you and laugh with you. Everyone feels welcome and connected. It’s just a very unique experience. Lots of people dress up. Lots of people dress casual. Have fun with it and just enjoy your night there.Keep in mind there are no vegetarian options but I wouldn’t be surprised if he would make an accommodation if you request it in advance.“

“We had the crab rangoon appetizer, Penang & green curry. All were fantastic. Spice levels were on point. Great and super quick service.Parking: Lots of parking available.Kid-friendliness: Comfortable atmosphere appropriate for children.“

“I sad I can’t give more stars than 5! If you are looking for great tacos with amazing salsa, come here! I got 2 carne asada and 2 carnitas tacos and it was some of the best tacos I’ve had in a while. Definitely coming back next time I’m at the mall!!!“

“My fiancé and I are always open to trying different dishes from other cultures, we’re pleased with this place. I love Mediterranean style food. Its delicious, filling and refreshing! Our waiter was welcoming and sweet. They even had an interesting set up of snacks and other grocery items.“

“Ordered Ribeye and loaded potato.Cooked to my preference,loaded potato was really good,almost ordered one to go. Steak was very delicious,hardly ever do I clean my plate but it all tasted really good. Service was really good. Drinks kept full and had an awesome waitress. Defiantly above and beyond service!Parking: No fault of the restaurant but seemed a little winding finding the way into the lot. Went a round the hotel next door. Defiantly a city planning problem but is typical with modern developments.“

“Love this place for a hotel-bar kinda spot this place has some of the best food in town. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good dining experience. Reasonable prices, great food and knowledgeable staff make for a great spot out of the college student main stream.“

“We recently enjoyed dinner with friends at Vesta. Our wives chose to have the Mahi mahi which was fantastic. My friend had the pork tenderloin sandwich and was quite impressed. I elected to have a pizza from their brick oven. We were served by Jake, not from State Farm, and he was very knowledgeable of all of the dishes he handled our questions with ease. I enjoyed the Meat-za pizza, it was enough food for two people and I ended up takes half the pizza home. The crust was a thin light crispy crust much like naan. The pizza was sauced lightly with fresh tomatoes, onions and other herbs and spices. The meats were fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend the pizza. We are going to visit again in the near future to try more of their dishes, I want the beef tenderloin. Our only negative experience was the crème brûlée. My wife and I often chose to eat at restaurants that have cb, we are kind of cb snobs. I took one bite of my cb and couldn’t eat any more of it. It was bland at best with very little vanilla flavor and tasted like they forgot the sugar in the recipe. The girls took a bite of theirs and they too turned theirs back. Jake came by, we told him what we thought, he went directly to the kitchen to try it himself. He came back and verified our complaint saying that he thought the chef forgot the sugar when making it. Jake to the ramekins away and removed them from our bill.All in all a great experience less the crème brûlée mishap. We will definitely be back to try a new dish as well as the CB again.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our sushi dinner. Thai iced tea and crab rangoons to start, then we shared 7 rolls with leftovers: California, Philly, sweet potato, and tempura broccoli rolls, Red Ginger roll, Peanut Special roll, and Snow White roll. Would absolutely stop again if the sushi craving hits on our many trips through Iowa!“

“Stopped at the Perkins which was located next to the hotel in which we were spending the night. We just wanted 2 desserts to take back to our room, and when we walked in we realized they were VERY busy that eve. The lady greeting us at the front counter made us feel just as important as those sitting for an entire meal. Our desserts (Banana Cream Pie and Chocolate Overload Cake) were fresh and quite tasty after a long day on the road. GREAT JOB PERKINS !!!“

“Love the atmosphere. Server Joe was great. The Monte Cristo....probably wouldn't order that again. Maybe I didn't read the description fully. I wasn't expecting a deep fried 'sandwich.' Fries were good. My daughter ordered salmon, which came with 2 sides. She said it was good. Croissants were great.I would go back again.“

“The takoyaki was great I was craving pho but it's not their specialty, the broth was fairly plain. I will definitely be returning to try some of the more popular items next time! The service was great! I'm sorry I can't remember my servers name but she was so sweet! The atmosphere is very chill, over all a pretty good experience!“

“My husband saw the wood fire pizza oven and got us a table. Love the building. Gorgeous bar. Our server was busy and on top of it. She gave us great recommendations for food choices. My Caprese salad was very good and my husband’s tomato soup was great. He had the Alfredo pizza and I had the Bianca. Very good pies! Perfect crust!!“

“Really nice food, pizza is amazing.Just wanted to make a note that when I ordered from Door Dash the food was tampered with and one of the pieces of pizza was removed from the box before I received it.I doubt it left the restaurant this way.Door Dash is not much help.Drivers name is Simon.“
