Avoid this casino at all costs!!! Go to Harrahs or Horseshoe casinos. Floor walkers are rude as F. Payouts here are horrible. Played over 2166+ spins and the biggest payout was $6! Yes, $6 bucks. Entering the casino, the staff working look somber and disgusted. Bathroom urinals were nasty; pee all on the floor. Free game play? Pffft. I got $50 free slot play; not a dime won. Rumor is (customers discussing) they tighten their machines to payout less. After 2166+ spins, the $6 proves this. Shame on you Ameristar! Drawings are a scam! The same people win multiple times. Have stayed here several times, each time our view is a wall. Same with this time, a wall and a roof. Tub had lots of rust on and around fixtures. Refrigerator froze everything and we couldn't find any controls to change the temp. No guide to tv channels. Hot tub was very cloudy and strong smell of chemicals. No adult swim time so had to put up with screaming kids. Just was not a pleasant stay and probably won't stay again. I am recovering from cancer treatments and came for a long weekend to rest and fiance could entertain himself at casino. How's the Holiday Inn?

We go to the buffet to eat crab legs!! They are so delicious there and worth it. Elizabeth the head manager is the absolute best!!! We look forward to going to eat and also to talk to her! She is so sweet nice kind and we had plenty of laughs! As long as she works there we will continue to go because the service is professional and the food is great! On Sundays they have brunch and the French toast was absolutely amazing and unlimited mimosa’s u can’t beat it. Also Our server Donna is the best!! But all the staff is friendly and they definitely get. 5 star rating from me. Thank you Elizabeth for all that you do we appreciate you!!!Food & drinks: We go to the buffet to eat crab legs!! Why do you offer comp rooms? Every time I try use my offer I'm told your sold out of comp rooms I even went into the future and yes, no rooms available. I highly doubt your out of rooms on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday in the middle of February

While at the casino playing my hard earned money(which I don’t have to play). Through no fault of my own, the paper jammed to get my ticket. The attendant. White skinny brunette lady, wearing a #87 chiefs jersey. Was EXTREMELY rude. Seemed extremely bothered like she didn’t want to be there. I tried to go the high road. After she came and hand paid me, I told her thank you and have a great night. She just walked away. Not a single word. Needless to say it left a bad taste in my mouth. The more I thought about it, the more ticked I got. Will NOT return.
