“First the Good: probably the best Crab Rangoon in town! Perfect. I got shrimp egg fu yung, the shrimp were BIG and tasty. My wife ordered Beef&Broccoli w/ added veggies - veggies were perfectly cooked and beef was tender and flavorful.Next - stuff that wasn't to my liking, but might be to yours: the egg fu yung patties were very thick. I prefer thinner. The dipping sauce for potstickers was thickened - weird but tasty. Also, the sauce on both the egg fu yung and B&B were very very sweet. Finally - stuff that we didn't like: the hot & sour soup was over-thickened, no heat at all, and needed more vinegar. The pot stickers were totally forgettable. The fried rice side was very plain - no flavor.Overall - it was OK. I prefer more authentic styles of Chinese, but I recognize that in addition to "Szechuan", "Cantonese", "Mandarin" et.al, "American" is IMHO a valid category ;)The place was very clean, everyone was very friendly. It's very casual - paper cups, throw-away plates etc. If you prefer "American Style" chinese, fast, casual - this is a good spot for that. If you are looking for authentic traditional dishes - this place will not be for you. But definitely get the Crab Rangoon!“
“I loved this space. The plants, furnishings and art give the dining room an organic feel. The service and food are unpretentious and straight forward. Prices are fair. I got the peanut Butter Chicken with noodles. Appreciated the variety and finish of the vegetables. The food was not AMAZING, but it was hot, fresh and good enough for a quick lunch. Overall rating is in the context of a quick, nutritious lunch in a cool little spot.Vegetarian options: They have jackfruit if you like that jackfruit. Planning on getting that next time.“
“walked in and was welcomed inside, the time I went it was slow and chill. Environment was clean nothing too impressive but I'm sure they will upgrade the store whenever they can, I enjoyed the teriyaki chicken, and the rice too. Good place for quick bite.“
“I had some classic sushi I never had before. Shitake and Negi Hamachi blew were better than I ever imagined. Sake was really good for the price too. I also nearly fell in love with the server after she agreed that classic more simple sushi are far better than the crazy contraptions people in the West come up with....“
“I very much enjoy when I go to HuHot, at any location in the city. The key is to make sure you use enough sauce on your food in order for it to add enough flavor and keep it from drying out or burning on the grill. They recommend 4-5 ladles. I personally recommend at least 8! Plus, I always add in the garlic oil. Personal preference, but I swear it gives it just the right flavor!Bummed they don't have the Coke Freestyle machine any more, but I can't blame them. Too many requirements to keep it running.“
