My daughter ordered a rueben sandwich. It came out with a tbsp of meat on burnt toast. She asked the waitress where the cheese sauce and sour kraut were. The waitress responded she didn't know. She then took the sandwich back to the kitchen, it came back with cheese, but no sauce and no sour kraut, so my daughter asked the waitress again ,where the sauce and sour kraut were, so the waitress replied "we have a new cook so maybe he didn't Know, " so my daughter asked if she could just order something else, the waitress said no, so she went to the kitchen and got a condiment cup of sauce and sour kraut and brought it back. I will never waste 50.00 for a whole family to eat here again. I have never had such bad servicehere and been so disappointed in the response I got. We were here on a Wednesday 3/27/2024 at 2:15pm - 2:50pm.

We've never had a bad meal there! The smoke on the meat has been just right and the flavor's been great!! The staff's always nice and we love the openness of the area. We always love eating there!!!

Types the names of the burgers are memorable and inventive, and only cause me to wonder which one I should try the next time I visit. To boost your immune system by sharing germs, I recommend each member of your dinner party order a different burger so everyone can test and taste each one.

Amazingly good food plus great service. Watch as your order literally flies into the kitchen. ?As a German I'd say this is the ambience of a typical US burger place. Love it!

We ordered and the rating - highly recommend and the line for the counter ordering was justified: Grunt Snort Wheeze Burger(burger, American cheese, breaded jalapeño slices, fried egg): Great, plenty of jalapeños if that's your thing, spicy bbq sauce is spicy - recommend getting on the side. Ketchup, bbq sauce, including spicy, mustard are all self serve, along with utensils, fountain pop. 8 oz pork tenderloin sandwich(crispy)+$1 pretzel bun: Great, medium size for an IA tenderloin, pretzel bun was worth the $1 upgrade. Deluxe Chicken Cordon Bleu(crispy chicken, ham, Swiss, fried egg): Great, fried egg different but in a good way, chicken was lightly breaded and very juicy. Cheese curds (shareable size $7.50): probably frozen but good. Portion worth the price, 2 sides of ranch come with. Waffle fries(small app): probably frozen, good, as expected. Fries(small app): probably frozen, good, thin cut shoestring, as expected Kid chicken nuggets (10 nuggets, drink(only fountain pop/ice tea/water), side included(got house made mac&cheese), $6): nuggets are similar to McD's, good; mac&cheese was good+; value was great. I highly recommend this place. Prices are a La carte though with a side and drink are offered. Soft drinks are $1.50/2.00 medium/large. Walk up counter to order; orders are sent by a zip line to the kitchen, probably 40 feet and funny/cool to watch. Food is brought out to the table by number.

Excellent & unique burgers! The brisket they use on top of a couple burgers is stand alone BBQ good.

The Buck Snort is a regular stop on our going-out-to-eat rotation. We eat there at least once every two weeks, if not more often. The Council Bluffs location offers standard table, high-top table, and booth seating. You order and pay at the front counter, then take your seat and the food is brought to you. Buck Snort has multiple TVs with sports playing; they also have music bingo and trivia nights for those interested. While Buck Snort has monthly and daily specials, my husband and I almost always get the bacon cheeseburger, because it is so good! Their fried cheese balls served with ranch are a nice starter. For sides, my husband gets tots and I go for sweet potato fries, but they have regular fries as well. I have had their mushroom & Swiss burger and it is good, too. If you want something different, try the taco salad. It's tasty. If you are looking for casual dining serving a variety of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and salads, give Buck Snort a try.
