The best part about me and my friends experience was when I was talking to a Las Vegas Raiders fan. And I'm a KC Chiefs fan. The service was the worse service I've had in 10 plus years. The food was horrible. My catfish had no taste to it. The hush puppies I had, had more taste than the fish. The sausage patties were at least 2 hours old and hard. The ham was so hard you could use it as a Frisbee. And the grits honestly tasted like a baby threw up some food and they put it in a bowl. The worst food experience I've honestly ever had. I told my friends Cracker Barrel has some amazing food and tonight made me seem like a total jackass. The worse $68 I've ever spent in my entire life. This place puts a bad name on the whole franchise.

I have never been a big believer in the cracker barrel chains. This one is different. I have been to a few other locations in other states and was never a fan. But this particular location is great. I don't know if it's the staff or the care this franchise owner takes in this restaurant. We usually have a great visit and this visit wasn't terrible but definitely wasn't great like other times. I always order the same thing. I always order dumplins and fried apples as my sides.. the dumplins weren't very warm and the fried apples only had 2 1/2 slices! Our table was dirty and my chair had food crumbs all over it. The waitress was nice but she seemed rushed. She asked about every minute for 5 minutes if we were ready to order. I was going to try a new meal but I felt rushed to tell her my order. So I didn't look at the menu much. Overall we were satisfied but definitely not the greatest like before. (And we go there A LOT!)
