Food was good and the atmosphere was fun. I like that it's in an old building - the tile floor is super cute! Staff were friendly and very helpful and the portion sizes were huge. I ate maybe half of mine, lol! Would recommend for sure. Of note: the restaurant is inside an old hotel, with other businesses, so to get to it you have to go inside the main entrance and then down the hall a little bit. The bathrooms are also across the hall from the restaurant because they're shared with the other businesses as well. The hallway has several displays of old pictures and Council Bluffs history so it's fun to look at those as well.

Great staff they always remember your order from times before, never a empty coffee cup. Food is good not great. Old fashon mom and pop restarant.

My biscuits and gravy were cold the waitress did not stop at our table once to see if everything was ok. When we went to the counter to pay our bill our waitress did not ask how our meal was or anything

What a Great Place. We love diners and small town cafes. This one fit the bill. Full of regular locals. 2 servers that knew how to work. We opted for a ham and cheese omelette, hash browns and toast. Bagel breakfast sandwich, hash browns. Plus homemade pecan roll. You can have 1/4 order,1/2 order or a brick of hashbrowns. Done crispy on the outside, moist and tender inside. Omelette loaded with ham and cheese. Breakfast sandwich had at least 5 slices of perfectly cooked bacon. The pecan roll was softball sized. Very light yeast dough, lots of sticky and pecans. Hash browns and half of pecan roll came home. All this food plus 2 cups of coffee, came to 21.00. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent prices. What more can you want?

Our first visit was exellent. I advise coming hungry, the portions are huge and decently priced. Dont come with a purse or coat because its very tight space. Our food came hot and the hashbrowns were amazing. The best ive had in a long time. For sure coming back.

Great little community-style diner downtown. The menu has all of the classic diner breakfast hits and an a-la-carte section for the DIY types. Food has hot and came out quick along with continuous coffee refills. No complaints, only good food and good people.

Google says this restaurant is handicap accessible and has handicapped parking. Neither is true. The restaurant should change this, so others don't waste their time bringing their loved one in a wheelchair, only to find a single entrance with stairs and no ramp

Very good food and a lot of it and staff there is very friendly ?
I have been eating here for 9+ years and the service along with the food is consistently amazing. The prices are very fair as well. Duncan’s never disappoints, love it!

Nothing that I could say would do it justice. The service was perfect. The food was perfect. The entire place was clean. The prices were very reasonable. My wife and I both cooked for restaurants for years and we couldn't have done any better ourselves. They don't need to change anything because they are the best in town.

Now Legends.....Good food ,good service ,nice size portions.First off ... I am a crispy hash brown fan. You have a option of a full pound half or a quarter pound in each meal ! Nice !Was not a fan of ( although well cooked and perfectly edible ) soft hashbrowns lightly browned . Purely a personal preference!Still great food ! Beautiful conversion turn of century hotel ..Some Stairs to access cafe.

Service is a little slow. But very friendly. The food is hot and good. The restaurant is clean and I have no problem's about going back. The only complaints I have I thought it was a bit expensive.
