“I went there for the first time today. I ordered two tacos (one chicken, one pork). Both were very good and meaty. I love that they included a lime slice and the hot sauce. I really liked the red sauce! The service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back in the future!“

“Came here for a meal before a show at the Orpheum. Family of 6 and most everyone was happy with what they got. More authentic Mexican than our basic white taste buds are used to, ha. Louis was a good server and the kids enjoyed his fun nature.“

Taqueria El Chavo Tacos • $
2411 I St, Omaha

“Been to this truck a couple times and both times I been happy. Cash only here but the truck has decent hours as on Sunday they are open until 10pm ish when lots of local restaurants shut down the kitchen on or by 9pm on Sundays. The food been good and they have been nice upon ordering. Besides all that..... it's just good and a fun experience to pull up, order, eat in the curb, in your car or on a local south Omaha bench. A fun experience.“

“Exactly the taco spot I've been searching for! I got three tacos, a drink and chips for under $20. Yes yes yes! I knew the tacos would be good when I saw the double tortilla! The meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I got them to go and they were still in tact upon arrival at home... a huge feat for togo tacos. The salsas are delicious and chips were fresh. They included limes and radishes in the order which I appreciated. Such a cute, clean atmosphere, too. Was pretty busy but we didn't wait long at all. All the staff we interacted with were so very sweet and friendly. Pretty sure they will know me by name soon, they've earned a new regular.“

“In a tiny old Dentist office on Mission Avenue sits one of the best BBQ joints in the metro. Their food hearkens back to the brilliance of Amarillo BBQ, which closed many years back when the owner retired. It's Texas BBQ done right, so you won't get meat already sauced. But that meat will be perfect, whether it's pulled pork, brisket, turkey, or ribs. Really inventive and delicious sides too. Yes, the seating is cramped and limited. But that doesn't mean you can't find away to get some of the best meats in your belly pronto.“

“Whether you want a burrito or shrimp and octopus cocktail, this is the best fast option in Bellevue. While they do have a picnic table (and a canopy in the summer) it is a food truck. Meat Options are Steak, tongue, chorizo, Al pastor, chicken and carnitas. Tacos, burritos, tortas, and quesadillas can be made with any of them. Shrimp and octopus cocktails are also available. Great food and super nice guys running it.“

“Modern style restaurant that still managed to have a cozy vibe to it. A great Omaha find for someone in town for a long weekend. The chips had a dusting of spices that elevated the "chip & dip" appetizer experience. I got the Dirty Bird as a quesadilla and it was so delicious. Get the Paloma margarita for a refresher twist.Vegetarian options: The Cajun Black Bean and Avocado are listed as "Specialty Tacos" but all can be made into quesadillas, burritos, etc.Parking: At least ten spots in the lot, but there is also side street parking as well.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp entrance at the front of restaurant (at the Farnam location)“
