The service was slow, my daughter and I ordered the club sandwiches which we're really small this time and a chicken that was on a was on the burnt side my son ordered a double cheeseburger which was fine the fries and onion rings were soggy

Spent an hour trying to call this location to order food to go. Never answered. Drove down to order and as I walked in I called their phone number to see if it would ring. Nope, and they have a sticky note on phone telling employees not to turn down volume. I even said something to the guy working. His excuse "I don't usually work Mondays so I've been going crazy". And, I ordered the $5 cheeseburger and fries. Out of American cheese(said he hasn't gone to store yet?)And when I got my meal, the cook made two small patties to put on my bun????

Really love going to village inn restaurants, the food nice and I like the Retro themes and styles. It's really fun and I hope they keep up the styles and don't change it. The throwback styles are really fun. The servers are usually really nice as well. The uniforms are usually very professional as well which I think is nice.

I enjoyed the companionship of friends while in a laid back, down to earth diner setting. The Oreo pancakes a friend ordered were underwhelming but that's mostly due to marketed image vs reality inconsistency (sort of like how the picture of a Big Mac looks good but the sandwich in the little box is ultimately disappointing)
