Drive all the way across town to get an egg salad sami for a friend with cancer only to find the restaurant closed. I understand the restaurant struggle in today’s world but I tried to call ahead and checked the website. There was nothing about being closed. Hy-Vee to the rescue, thank goodness!

Great lunch spot. Fresh sandwiches and paninis. The veggie sandwich is dynamite. Cookies and muffin tops I are super yummy! The best is the homemade bread!

ordered from Grubhub and I had to come over here to write a review on the food. The food was so good, I wasn't even that hungry and I smashed it all LOL The grilled chicken panini with added bacon and spinach was great, the side of potato salad was good but small but that's okay because they only charged $2 for it, but the tomato bisque soup was what was amazing. Everybody kept telling me it smelled so good and it did and it tasted even better. Would definitely recommend and order from here again. Thank you!

Super cool place come check it out. They have this nice deal where if you buy a tumbler there you get free refills FOR LIFE. Worthhh. Foods great too. Love the cookies!

Tuna sandwich tasted like it was grounded up & the mayonnaise leaked all over the wrapper & onto the bread which caused it to be soggy. Tomato bisque soup was bland & a piece of string was in it. Everything looked & tasted so gross & nasty that I'll never go back again!!!
Such a cute shop. I got the Italian beef sandwich and happy danced the whole time I ate. The ladies working were so nice and helpful too. Highly recommend!

Their homemade honey wheat bread is so so good. Never knew this place existed and I’ve lived in the QC my whole life. I really like the veggie sandwich, but was told that the Cali club is also very good.
Won't pay their staff minimum wage, no wonder no one wants to work for such scum

Hi, the Deli was recommended by a work colleague but…I have yet to be able to get into the establishment. I have tried on 3 separate occasions, and I have yet to be able to get inside. Each time, there has been a random sign posted, indicating they are either not open due to staff shortages, or closing early due to staff shortages. They sounded promising but if after three separate tries one cannot try the fare advertised, I give up! I can’t say I will be recommending Cafe’ Express.
