Way too much hype about this place. Duck fries were super greasy. Overall food and service was mediocre at best. Dated decor and a loud rambling cook. Everything pretty much overpriced. But my stuffy in-laws like this place so that explains everything... Can't recommend.

We came to Duck City Bistro to celebrate a birthday. We began with a bottle of Pino Noir to toast our celebration. Our waitress was patient, knowable and helpful in selection of our wine and offered suggestions for apps and dinner options. We first had a crisp salad which was fresh. Then we each chose the filet and let me tell you…that filet was one of the best we have had in quite awhile.Melt in your mouth with a such great flavor. Slightly caramelized crust on the exterior and pink but juicy interior. Great job chef!We highly recommend Duck City Bistro for that special event or date night out with your significant partner. Was a bit pricey but felt for a special event was well worth it.Bon Appetite!

What an absolutely amazing experience! We are French and it was very comparable to French dining (albeit the portions were a lot bigger ). The owner/chef was friendly and stopped by many times to chat with us. (We had to sit at the bar as we didn't have reservations. I would suggest making one ahead of time). We will be back at Christmas time for the cassoulet!

We walk in, and greeted by a loud man screaming in a chef hat and pajama pants. Literally screaming, as if we were entering a circus sideshow. We should have left. The service was sl——-ow. Took forever to get menus and a drink order. When I asked the server about the menu selection she told me “she was not sure”. It would be nice for the server to have some knowledge on a menu which has NO PRICES listed. I have dined in fine restaurants in large cities, never have I been presented a menu without pricing. Ever. In my opinion, a bit shifty?

Duck city employs a maniac who thinks it’s okay to strike pedestrians with a vehicle while crossing a crosswalk and taking off. The owner was made aware of the situation and nothing has been done aside from current employees helping me get the information I needed. Shame on you Duck City. You will never get money from my family or I again.

Owner of establishment employs a dishwasher by the name Todd. Todd hit my partner and almost hit me on August 12th, 2023 around 10pm with his rusty pick up truck as we were crossing the street with the pedestrian light. Duck City as an establishment has failed to help provide information to help solve this hit and run crime. Thanks to the employees that did help via family connections. Shame to the owner for protecting an active felon.

Parking was not great and the atmosphere was kind of creepy in the room upstairs with all of the older apartments but the food was pretty good.

Everything about this place is 5 stars. We heard about how great it was from a friend and we weren’t disappointed. We will be coming to this place again when we visit Davenport.

When we walked in the atmosphere seemed solid but as they show you the food you get a sense of it being a gimmick. The show food gives a sense of blandness, as if the food would be somehow made of plastic. Then we sit down and start consuming. Old fashioned was college bar trash. Mushrooms were just cooked mushrooms. The entrees were nearly inedible. Could not recommend this place less.

The Prince Island Mussels were fantastic down to the sauce. We literally could have just kept dipping the bread in as the entree. Easily the best mussel dish in the Quad Cities. The filets are each a great cut. And the desserts are all stars. Chef's special dessert tonight was the chocolate tiramisu. Astonishingly great dish. The only change came from the girls. They had the Ahi, Mahi, and Thai Chicken. Everyone agreed that using sushi rice would be a great plus to those dishes.

Quite possibly the best restaurant west of St Charles. Amazing menu and service. Got there at 5pm, great display of food. Fairly quiet restaurant, the bill was very reasonable. Highly recommended!
