The bad":All restaurants serve salsa with nachos to start; bottled sauce that anyone could buy. They should change that, it doesn't even taste good. The food is served on battered plates and that doesn't look good. The apparent cardboard brick walls are very poorly made, it looks neglected and there are screws that are even poorly placed; Also mention that the room has a colorful vibe, but its tables and chairs are not, a depressing cafe; imprecise, like the fact of having customized everything except that generic roof that clashes with the other elements in general. I also don't understand how they can put the carnitas in the "healthy" section of the menu, and not to mention that they take the lemons in the tacos as a "side" - that's how it is on the menu - which is strange. The food took a little while, but forgivable. The good:The waitress and the receptionist are friendly and pleasant. The menu is readable and simple. My enchiladas were good, I could taste the huajillo and the meat was tasty; Poor lettuce on the one hand, so abandoned. The beans are good; I hope they aren't canned, but at least they put onion in them and it tastes delicious. The rice is good. Overall the dish was not very harmonious, but it works.Extra:The water is very hard, I think they should at least have a softer one for other palates; water is not expensive. And I know that it is like that in all restaurants, but the devil and God are in the details. I'll probably come back to try other dishes. And I don't know, ask why they don't speak Spanish. Mexican is in the food and not in the language, or do they go to Olive's Garden to listen to Italian?

Ganzo's catered a great meal for a summer neighborhood party we were hosting. Showed up on time, with all of the necessary supplies. Everyone was talking about how great the food was, and we had more than enough! Great food at a great value!

This is my first experience here and it was takeout. Food was hot and fresh. I finally found THE Mexican place in Davenport, IA. I can’t wait to dine here with my wife. Much love to all the staff and cooks here. You can literally feel the goodness in their food.

It's mediocre. The salsa is okay. The guacamole dip is alright if you add salt. The staff is great. Their shrimp and rice is alright. But they skimp on the shrimp. I've been to other places that have it too. They give you at least 10 shrimp. Same price..They have a taco bar my husband likes for lunch. I don't eat their tacos. Don't care for the meat. It's bland. Kinda like Rudy's tacos.Parking: It sucks. They have a very small parking lot. Trying to find a spot is really hard at lunch time.

I had three hard tacos packed. They were really good. Their taco sauce is the secret. The chips and salsa appetizer was also very good . The only change, I think a tiny bit of beans and rice on side would have made it perfect, just a tiny bit, but I was stuffed anyways.

Food was pretty darn good. I had a huge burrito that I couldn't finish. Homemade chips. Service was poor. Brought one thing at a time. Food not ready together. Maybe give them another try. Maybe.

I wouldn't call this Mexican food. Tex-mex maybe, but please season the meat. Ordered a steak burrito, at least flavor the hamburger. The "steak" was basically burger, and the salsa is basic, almost flavorless. The service was great, the food is edible, but it is lacking.

I got take out but the service on the phone and when I arrived for the order was excellent. The chicken and rice was the best I’ve had in the QCA. They definitely have Rudy’s beat.

Top tier service, margarita, and food. Long time patron who stopped going years ago only to fall back in love tonight with the restaurant.

As a life long Illinois QC resident, I always enjoyed Mexican cuisine on the east side of the river. And there are many good places over here. Then I heard about Ganzo's and I don't know how I missed it for so long! We had a really good server (Dalton) and the restaurant is very clean. Margaritas we're as good as I've ever had. I had the Mexican tacos, my wife had the Chicken Enchiladas...fantastic! But the menu is so extensive...I gotta go back for the Fajitas! If you haven't tried Ganzo's, you need to get there!!!

It had been over 30 years since I had eaten at Ganzo’s. The food is still great and reasonable prices and large portions.
