The food is okay. Portions are kind of small for the price and they don’t customize so don’t bother asking them to do so. Guessing because the customer base is just Americans the flavor is catered towards that. Worth a shot if you feel for some Jamaican food but not somewhere I would say is my go to spot, more like it’s just the only one in the area.

I like the food but now they open when they feel like it. They don’t answer the phone at all. Drive there twice around 6pm Thursday , Friday and they were closed. No notice on the door. I hope trey change the hours on the website and at least answer the phone. I live 20 mn away and don’t like wasting my time. I called a dozen times no answer

It was very good, I would've liked the curry chicken to be a bit spicier & the option for boneless, but the j*** chicken was amazing! Spicy was spicy & very good! The reggae rice, Mac & cheese & festives (I think) was impressive. Service was outstanding! Honestly she was very friendly, explained diff things on menu, fast A+! Very authentic, friendly, super clean! Thank you guys!

I got the Jamaican j*** chicken, rice and peas, coleslaw, and a empanada type side. The flavors of the j*** chicken are great! The rice was definitely just a filler but it was cooked well. I didn't expect the coleslaw to be as good as it was. Lastly, the empanada was great in the middle. There was a little too much "crust." Overall great tasting food and I recommend this place to everyone.

We were visiting from out of town and were looking for lunch spots and we came across the restaurant. We hadn't had Jamaican food before and the waitstaff recommended things to try, answered all our questions and took great care of us. The food was incredible, you have to try their Mac and cheese! When we come back to town we must stop in again!

We love Taste 876 Jamaica! I can’t get over how delicious the j*** chicken is! The sides are huge along with good sized meat portions. One of our many go to places for lunch or dinner when we’re in a hurry for something tasty!

Best food in davenport. I want to see taste 876 Jamaica food trucks everywhere on Illinois and Iowa side Even after 9pm.. theyre sous chef is the best in America. I would love to see him branch off and start a food truck with all Jamaican food that serves late . He would make over 100k in 8 months .. I’m all about good food and networking . Good vibes

I had the spicy j*** chicken, my friend had oxtails- and we absolutely enjoyed every single bite. We received prompt & outstanding service and received an ample amount of food at an affordable price.It was our first time here but definitely not our last. I highly recommend giving this a try if you have not visited before and you are looking for a casual dining experience.
My mom ordered chicken curry and it had good flavor but the chicken had little to no meat which for $13 is a rip off. I understand dark meat has less meat but this was ridiculous. The rice was bland I ordered beef patty $12 which was so tiny. It tasted good but... They tasted exactly like the beef patties from the dollar tree... I'm not even exaggerating I'm being seriously!! go buy some from the dollar tree then buy some here!! It taste the same And it looks exactly the same. I'm really disappointed if they're using frozen patties. :( I really wanted this place to be awesome and it just didn't cut it. Too little food for a lot of $

This place was amazing, it's so clean and colorful, really nice decor and music. The food was so amazing I didn't get any pictures. :) we tried the curried goat which was to die for, and the escovitch fish was excellent too. This is a must try!
