Excellent food, pleasant atmosphere (except a bit noisy). Our waitress was very attentive. First we had the Crab Beignets, which were delicious. Three of us had the Scallops, which was good; one had fish. Dessert was turtle cheesecake and coconut creme cake.

Very nice place with great tasting food. Service was great and we did not have a reservation but with only two at around 530 they just sat us down. Brisket burger with bacon jam and arugula tasted amazing.

2023 - visited Half Nelson this time for dinner. Great stop again. Service was very good. We were seated promptly and given options off the menu. Order my steak and it came hot and ready to eat. Great to see the atmosphere and food have not died off since my last visit.2019 - Cool restaurant. Good food and a really cool atmosphere for a restaurant in Iowa. The server was good and refilled drinks without being asked which was awesome. I was recommend to give it a visit by a local business owner and the stop was worth it. I ordered the grill cheese sandwich and it came hot and ready to eat.

Just had the most amazing ribeye here! Decided to splurge and order the Cowboy Ribeye for $60. For a minute I had second thoughts as I was worried it wasn't often ordered and that maybe the steak had been sitting awhile or frozen. Wrong! This was the best steak I've had while out to eat. Perfectly marbled, juicy, and the fat melted in your mouth. I often come away disappointed by steak at fine dining establishments, I was not this time! I will be back!

Husband and I were in town for 1 night ( NYE) and were so pleasantly surprised by the entire restaurant- decor, vibe, food, drinks, employees (especially Alexis!) if I ever find myself in Davenport again, will def visit again!

From drinks to salad to dinner and dessert, everything was simply amazing. The beet salad was bursting with flavor, scallops melted in your mouth, the pistachio barramundi was cooked perfectly... I just can't say enough about how brilliantly this food is prepared.
Attention to detail and they do it well. We had cocktails and apps in the bar on a Saturday night. Everything was portioned correctly and staff were attentive. Will definitely stop here again.

I did get to try here because you need a reservation and they recommended 2 days in advance for the weekend. Also there reservation sites is a little complicated, so check everything before booking.

Easily the worst meal I've had in town. Steak was right off Golden Corral buffet. Service was also awful and no standards - young lady in shredded jeans. It was mid-week, so I can only hope weekends are better.
