We eat here almost every Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m.They never have French Silk pie. I realize it's a free piece of pie but French Silk has to be in the top 2 and there is no excuse to always be out of it. MAKE MORE. I know your staff tell you customers ask for it all the time so this tells me management doesn't much care what their customers want. It's also very unfair to your night shift employees. It's not their fault yet they have to listen to customers complain. I wish the lady that managed this location for years would come back. Sadly we are done with it. We will go elsewhere, where they care about their customers and employees. This type of thing is what closes restaurants these days. I hate to see that.

Cute and homey place to get Sunday breakfast. They have a great menu, plenty of different items to choose from. Food came out quick and hot. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. The decor will bring you back in time to your grandma's house and make you feel warm and cozy. Plenty of parking.

Food was subpar. Eggs were ice cold when they came out from the kitchen. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs NOT what I thought this was going to be. The biscuits and gravy aren’t even that it’s a freaking sausage and biscuit sandwich covered in gravy. The hash browns weren’t cooked crispy like I asked and had ABSOLUTELY to much pepper in them. The waitress was oblivious to what we was asking for when we needed something. I do not recommend this place if you’re visiting from out of town like myself. I will be finding some place better to eat

This used to be our go-to spot for good Diner food about 7 years ago, but now the food just isn't worth it. We recently went there and ordered breakfast for an early dinner, and it was barely edible. The food was cold. Food that needs to be hot like scrambled eggs, chicken fried steak, and gravy, country potatoes. My dish had chicken and it was very dry and had the day old leftover taste chicken gets, especially if not stored right, but it was thin cut chicken that wouldn't have taken long to cook so it should have been cooked fresh.To top it off, our request for more butter for their average pancakes from the waiter was ignored. The diner was not busy, maybe 3 tables at one time while we were there.We understand staff shortages, especially when it's busy, but it wasn't not busy and we kept seeing the waiter hanging out talking to other employees while we waited for our drink orders to be taken ( no refills were given cause she wasn't around), while we waited on butter that never came and while we waited on a check so we could leave.
Service Animals welcome!! This place was amazing for our brunch Date. Hubbie and I ate like royalty!! ? Rhonda was great and had impeccable service. Thank you village inn for a wonderful day out lunch.

Yesterday I came in & was greeted wonderfully & my server Micki (hopefully I spelled that right) was phenomenal!!! Meeting all our needs & never letting my soda hit an empty glass .... Food was fabulous!! But this review is to bring light to the wonderful server ... one of the best experiences I've had in Davenport while visiting my family. If everyone could be like Micki the food industry would go really far!! Hire more people like her!!! Thank you again Micki hope you have a wonderful holiday.
