But my drink was GREAT!!I had spent weeks looking forward to visiting this establishment. My first impression was less than stellar. The cases were almost empty, the clerk seemed like she couldn't talk, or she just didn't want to? A gentleman walked out but barely said two words.We will try again another time and hope for better customer service and full cases that match the FB pictures.The building was beautifully done!

I would not recommend ordering anything from this bakery. I placed an order for a small round pistachios cake on January 20th for our wedding on May 13th. My husband went to pick it up on the morning of the 13th and there was no cake made. I have tried several times to get ahold of someone at the bakery, and each time it has either gone to voice mail or they are to busy to talk to me and to call back later. When I try to call later it goes to voice mail. If I could give less stars I would.Edit: Yes when I initially called and spoke to the baker at 6 am (I had to call on my way to work) I had informed her I would call back with my decision. I called back later that day and informed the lady that answered the phone that we had decided to place the order. I was under the impression the message would be passed on and the order was placed. Obviously I was mistaken. I have never had such issues with a bakery before.Usually I only order from Bakery on Broadway in Audubon because they are amazing, or make the items myself. Unfortunately they were booked out that weekend. I really didn't want to have to worry about making a cake the week of our wedding on top of everything else going on. The joke was on me though because I had to come up with a cake the morning of our wedding. Thankfully it turned out beautifully with everything else going on, and we will have great photos of my bridesmaids helping me with the cake.You might want to work on your employees communication skills.

Heidi, the baker, made the cookies and wedding cake for our daughter’s wedding. They were perfect and to die for. Everyone kept asking us where did we get our cookies. Heidi also did an excellent job setting up/decorating the cake and was very easy to work with!!! Will definitely order from the Bake Shop / baker - Heidi for any future events.

My daughter and I both got lattes and a cookie! Everything was so good and the prices were great!!! It is such a cute place too and workers were so nice!!

Truly a hidden gem with fantastic baked goods (cookies, muffins, cakes, etc.). So good that I bought a large stash to share with my 45 employee company! The story is also fantastic - ran by and employing persons with disabilities from Wesco Industries, plus connected to the Donna Reed Theater and Museum makes this place a must see and experience. The baker, Heidi, is certainly special and a treasure. Reasonable prices too, especially compared to places like Panera Bread. The lemon tort cake is a delicacy that can't be missed. Resounding positive reactions as we shared with family and friends. I haven't tried coffee - but seems it's great as well, as seen by daily morning coffee groups spending time here!

I’ve had the Bake Shop’s food a couple of times (which I have completely enjoyed) through work but had never gone inside the shop before today. I walked in and staff had greeted me and were helping me immediately. Their lunch special was a buffalo chicken wrap, which I got. When I bit into it, I was completely surprised!! I had never had a wrap that good, and I’m not even a fan of buffalo chicken. The cookies never disappoint either! Their store also has some gifts and candies, baked goods, and a huge selection of coffees, smoothies, and old fashioned sodas. Definitely recommended!!

My girlfriend gave this place a shot and it was not the experience she was expecting. The person who attended her seemed like they did not want to take her order. Reason being is the attendant pretended to not know what she was ordering. On top of that the drink was atrocious.
