Came from out of town and a friend wanted me to try the mini beers. It was a great decision. I’ll be back next time I’m coming through Des Moines and hopefully get to vibe a little longer.

A great location and space for all Bear's fans. And even if you are not a Bear's fan, you will enjoy hanging out in this cozy sliver of Chicago here in Des Moines. I have never had a bad time in my visits and you can get all the classic Chicago beers and drinks you can think of!

BRE was phenomenal. We are from Omaha & don't know Des Moines. She handles a big crowd and makes everybody feel comfortable and handled. This is a cute bar with great music. Highly suggest to come here. The amazing bartender and service was just a plus!!! Would come again.

This is a nice place to get together with friends, especially for sporting events. I've been here 3x. Once to study during the day, once after a concert, and once to watch a game. They're known for their $5 shots of Malört and mini-beers which is actually a shooter of Licor 43 topped with heavy cream. They also serve hot dogs and Voodoo chips, best chips in my opinion. The bartenders here are always awesome! I wanted a Nut & Berries cocktail and they made one with the ingredients they had on hand and didn't charge an arm and a leg!
Perfect place for a Bears or a sports fan. However the bar seemed small. It was a nice place to grab a drink and go.

I was just in town for a wedding and wanted to watch hockey and TNF. Bartender hooked me up with all the TV's. Pretty cool when everyone else seemed to be a regular.Shout out to Billy for going above and beyond.
