Very salty, but food was hot and there were large portions. Some items were really good, but items like the beef burrito were a little disappointing.

Ever since the restaurant changed ownership, the quality of their steak has been TERRIBLE! Every time I've been there, the steak was inedible as it was ALL pure fat. I complained about this the last time I went. Although, it had a few good pieces it was still way below par. They're being greedy as they give you less meat, give you all the fat that's normally separated, charge for a single sauce, and I should have demanded a refund as the 'carne asada fries' or 'Super Fries' is over $13. Way to expensive not to eat and enjoy it!

Definitely not the best ever I know however Albalardos has always been there when I needed you. We have had late nights early mornings and everything in-between...I think I love you Not gonna lie, Albalardos is a staple in my life lol. I definitely recommend the Carne Asada Super Nachos, Carne Asada Super Fries or the Carne plate. Ingersoll location is by far the best location I have been to so far.

A Mexican restaurant that doesn't send chips and salsa with your order? I was wrong in thinking they all did. Food cold and spilled all over bag. May have been grub hubs fault. Taste- just okay. Sad. Really wanted the quac I ordered. And really wanted chips and salsa. At least salsa to put on my food.

First time getting food at this establishment. The Queso dip was not in my delivery (doordash). When I called and spoke to the "manager" he dated he checked my order twice. Meant nothing because the Queso was not in my delivery. He offered double Queso on my next order. They offered I could pick it. I explained it defeated the purpose of delivery. I had paid a service charge, plus delivery fee. I just wanted a refund because my order was missing an ingredient. Long story short he said to call back tomorrow to talk to Brenda. It has been three days of calling and Brenda is never working when I call. Please have a manger contact me so we can get this taken care of. Thank you

I'm appalled at the lack of customer service and professionalism that was displayed at their E 14th location. I ordered 10 tacos an hour in advance to be picked up at a certain time, but when I got their they hadn't even started my order therefore making me late to the dinner I was supposed to drop off. They only gave me 8 tacos so I went back to get the additional 2 tacos I paid for, but they told me I wasn't able to get them unless I brought the box back, because they couldn't know if "I was lying or not." I went out of my way to go all the way back to the restaurant for 2 tacos that I'm sure cost pennies to make. I'm embarrassed by this whole experience-you've lost my business permanently.

Over 20 minutes stuck in the drive thru. Got to the window had to re place my order. Got my order & it was incorrect. Had to send it back. Total time 30 minutes. The food is delicious but the service is TERRIBLE. The Abelardos on Ingersoll is much, much better.

This is not good very tough cold shell and cold filling filling was a lot and could have been good if....waste of money.I found out they changes hands since last I was there.before it was always fabulous.now I really want my money back

Amazing, fast, and super casual Mexican cuisine. The styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery are fairly unassuming, but once you dig into the food you'll see why they're such a strong presence in the Des Moines area. You get a great deal on food, plenty of content for the price you pay. It isn't anything too out of the ordinary, but they make some classic combos and make them very well. On top of all this, the staff are super kind. I'll definitely be coming back for lunch again!

Tonight I was starving and didn't want burgers. Plus I'm doing low carb and this place has fajitas & queso. I got the chicken fajitas and didn't eat the rice and just had a little bit of refried beans. The fajitas were delicious and hot, the beans were piping hot too and very tasty. Yes it's a bit of a wait, but if you're looking for fast food, this is the place. Also, I assume the owner's??/manager's?? little sons were helping out in the kitchen. I love a local family joint!!
