Mariscos El Capitan is nothing more than mediocre Mexican food with a bill so far apart. The chips we ate with our salsa tasted as if the oil was never cleaned, cooked too hot, or the tortillas had expired. The michelada did not have enough chamoy. When we brought it up our waitress she switched with the bartender for the remainder of our time. My carne asada burrito hardly had any meat inside. It pressed down on the skillet to appear larger than actual size. To wrap up. Drinks took 15 minutes to hit the table. Another 35 for food and it was post lunch on a Friday. Bartender was the best part there.

Fresh complimentary seafood ceviche and salsa. Fresh and soup! The warm 7 seas tomato based soup is delicious. Whole crab , octopus, baby scallop, fish shrimp head off and head on, green mussels....fresh veggies. Thanks??

This place is the best. Real deal Mexican seafood. Live bands on the weekend. This is a legitimate Mexican restaurant. I had the caldo 7 mares (seven seas soup) and it was awesome.

Me dieron un pescado echado a perder , se lo informe a la mesera sin el afán que no me lo cobraran solo para informarles que pues su comida no servía , y la respuesta de la mesera fue “ olía muy feo o que ?”

Excellent experience. Love the old building in the middle of historic area. Supposedly this place has been a restaurant by many names for over 60 years in continuous operation.

Food was not that great, no flavor and no Mazatlan taste. I think the price is high for the quality we received.

Good authentic atmosphere. Food is good flavor ordered Alegria Special 130$ but was over cooked , shrimp, lobster, and crab all overcooked. The fried fish tasted like tierra. Feel like was too expensive for quality was getting. Drinks were good deffinatley for da cruda.Ceviche was dry. Ask for spicy habanero sauce.
