Owner doesn’t like non locals. Will yell at you for having a beer on the table without a coozie. service might take you 15 min. The bathrooms are very small. Not worth your time

Not a bad little joint out west a bit on Ingersoll Ave. Situated on a hot little block with a couple really good restaurants and another divey type bar. Small, yet cozy with a big widow looking out to the street, a jukebox, pinball and pool table. Owner operated with a ‘I don’t give a shit’ attitude but in a loving and caring way.

3 stars only cause the bartender was nice & quick, but there was only 1 other patron inside. This is definitely your "ol school" dive bar, the minute you walk in there was a smell to the place (wasn't pleasant) more of that old pleather/dirty floor smell. There was a pinball machine, pool table and jukebox inside. This place had that "local" dive bar spot feel to it. Drink was fairly cheap $5, we had the bartender make us her favorite drink which was a watermelon shot and it was tasty. The place has potential, if it didn't have the unpleasant smell to it and it was a little brighter inside.

The jukebox doesn't work most of the time. The owner is still eccentric and the drinks are still strong. This place is a gem.
One of my favorite local bars. Cheap drinks, and they sell Old Style beer which is kinda hard to find in Des Moines from my experience.
Great dive bar
The besttttt... Tom Jones in the jukebox...
Love the bartenders
