Walked in for some to-go. I put little over $6.00 worth of food but the minimum you can pay is $9.99 so the lady didn't bother to tell me to add more food so I could at least get my dollar's worth. I was looking for chow-mein and the guy there was nice enough to ask me if I wanted some fresh ones. I came in around 8 p.m. so the food was kind of drying up.

Food was cold and didn’t taste good at all. Bathrooms smelled awful and looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned for a long time.

We arrived at the tail end of dinner rush, but there weren't too many people there. They have a sign on the door stating that, due to a lack of staff, it was pretty much a self-service type of deal, even more than a normal buffet. You pay first, and your meal includes a drink, which you get yourself from a soda fountain (Coke products). The cups are regular, washable plastic cups you might find at any other sit-down restaurant of the kind, and the cutlery is the usual stainless steel, but the plates are styrofoam, and you are expected to bus your own plates (there are signs showing where the trash and drink dispenser are). Very much a cafeteria style experience. When we arrived a lot of the food had been picked over, and what was left was getting a bit dry, as happens at most buffets at that time of the night. Even so, some of the more popular dishes were still fresh and mostly filled. The broccoli beef (as it was tagged) was decent, and the Mongolian beef was pretty good, too. One thing I usually enjoy at these types of buffets is the green beans, and even the older ones that were left on my first trip were really good, and there was a fresh pan on my second trip.I was less than impressed with the salt and pepper squid, but I've had worse, so even though I didn't finish it I would definitely try it again (hopefully the breading will be less soggy), though I don't particularly like the onion with it- but maybe that's just my personal taste. That being said, their fried selections were on point. Dumplings, egg rolls, bite-sized crab rangoon, and spring rolls were all as good or better than most others I've had in town, and I have eaten at many of the local Asian buffets and regular dine-in or delivery restaurants over the years.Yes, overall, I can only give it 3 stars this time around, for the complete experience and some of the less than exciting selections, I'd definitely give it at least a second try to see if it had improved (and to get more of those spring rolls!).

They are ok for the most part they are not as good as they used to be everything was kept full but the food was all right. The pot stickers were out of this world as also the egg rolls rice is on the mushy side but due to the circumstances it's good for a quick bite.

The food wasn't the best. The restaurant was very cold, frigid cold. I had to get the soup to stay warm. A person could only get a tiny bit of food from buffets, or it would get cold very fast. I needed a warmer or small fire at the table. I would NOT recommend it!

This place was just terrible. You have to pay before you’re even seated. Once you pay you basically have to seat yourself anywhere and get your own drinks. Some of the food was okay and some was hard and cold. Found it weird how they only have styrofoam plates and buckets with cheap utensils where everyone puts their hands in to grab what they need. Will for sure not be going back. Horrible service.

The food is okay. But the service is bad employees are just sitting around on there phones not even asking how’s everything going like other places. I will not be returning back here again. Has changed names many many times and overall service is just horrible, plastic plates, You also have to throw away your own plate and some of the food is cold,

I didn't think anything of the two poor reviews this restaurant received before eating there as there were ONLY two reviews. BUT I will say that when we entered the establishment it should have been a sign of things to come that it was completely empty AND they asked us to pay in advance before eating! In the entrance way of the restaurant was a hand-written sign telling their potential patrons to look the buffet over before they decided to eat there and people were actually walking out! Another sign would be the tacky styrofoam plates that they expected their patrons to use. That's just the things that were visible! The food felt and tasted like it had been on the buffet tables since yesterday. We even noticed a pot full of soup that had been sitting so long that it had developed a thick film on top of it. The place has potential but they DEFINITELY need to get a better cook! I did NOT even want to give them the one star. I would've preferred to give them no star!

My family has been to this restaurant location for years it has changed names several times and probably owners/management. I will have to say the food wasn't even mediocre it was cold greasy lacked flavor I ordered water to drink and even the water tasted terrible. Not sure what or why it was so bad but I would never go again. I spent over $50 for 3 adults and one 4 year old I am so disappointed and what a waste of money.

I came in for the buffet, do you want a dining experience where you eat off of styrofoam plates & eat with plastic silverware? Come to Asian Buffet then.im never going back

Cheap food and cheap environment for an expensive price. Kids 3 and under are $5, kids over 3 are $8, adults $15. Skip it and get HyVee. The tiramisu was the bomb, though.

Friday evening at 6pm. Not very busy. Paper plates and plastic utensils. Buffet not stocked very well.On the good side, the items I tried were good, hot, fresh. They didn't have the hibachi station open.My favorites were the stuffed mushrooms, General Tsao chicken, and spring rolls.Service was OK. Waited a long time to be seated as no staff was around. Got one water refill.Cost $14 before tip. That was the worst part. The main dishes were empty for most of my visit so I didn't get the whole 'buffet' experience.
