Our first time and what a great experience! We arrived around 11:30 am , found a spot in the parking lot (big plus!), and got right in, but we made it just in time. It filled up fast!Our server, Adrianna, was fabulous; very friendly (awesome smile), happy to answer some of our questions, and was just overall top notch!The food was incredible especially the Armadillo Eggs with the jalapeño ranch. Supberb!Highly recommend and it's conveniently located right off I-235.
Make sure to ask for a fork before you leave with a togo. But in other words the shrimp fettuccine, blackened chicken and, apple crisp are very fire. 5 stars in my eyes but minus a star for the fork. ?

This is a great "go to" when in the area. There is a excellent selection for everyone on the menu, the kids are always happy with their meals, and the portions never leave you hungry.Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids menu, but the kids have tried everything on the kids' menu and approved!! The restaurant is perfect for taking kids, and the staff seem to enjoy catering a little more just to welcome the little ones.

The restaurant had a 90 minute wait so they had food for sale downstairs!! Plenty of room there. The Armadillo balls were delicious ?
Went here on a day out, got fried Pickle chips, and the waitress took them before our table was done with them. Did not provide napkins, or utensils, nor did she refill my water. ALSO she didn't bring us our food, someone else did. Didn't check on us, only brought us the bill....

Was visiting Des Moines from KC, this place sounded cool, so what the heck, right? Initially we were told 20-25 minute wait, however another patron said he had been waiting 43 minutes, as this is happening, there are at least 10 empty tables. I ordered a drink from the bartender and she could see my frustration, cane out and explained it was due to staffing issues. Ok I get that. She was very nice. Anyway we finally get seated, got our food ordered, the appetizer came out cold, server took it off our bill, ok fine. Had to go back to the nice bartender to purchase more drinks as we had sat there empty for at least 15 minutes. Then lol and behold our meal came out cold as well. Do not recommend
