Terrible experience, worst restaurant. There was no food in buffet trays at 12 still they charged us $17 per person.Cold noodles, cold gulab jamun, no Naan, no curries, no chicken- they could have told us that they were out of food

I order from SON all the time and even if I order on an app they are always so nice and professional and let me know what's going on with my order. The Malai Kofta is incredible :

My friend invited me to dinner and this was the spot she chose. I really don’t know why more people are not talking about this place. I’ve been back three times and every time has been perfect! The food is so good and you can tell it’s cooked fresh. Everything I’ve tried has wonderful flavor and the staff is friendly!

I was there a couple of times for the buffet. They have good options for both veg and non-veg. dishes. The taste was good.Only thing might be hampering their business is their location.

Food: The food is fantastic and authentic. The indo-chinese is the best I've had in a long time. Onion kulcha was a little raw, but the flavor was fantastic. I tried Samosa and kadhai Paneer, and they both were pretty good, too. They have authentic spice level, not americanized spice level. So be ready for the runny nose if you order spicy food!Service: Service is okay, took them a little time to come greet us, and food came out promptly, but then it took some waiting to get the check.Atmosphere: The atmosphere is interesting. It's not warm or inviting. Do NOT go in the grocery store, very weird vibes in there. It had very random fee things, just very few packaged snacks, and a few gambling machines in the back. They didn't have any grocery.Vegetarian options: A plenty of vegetarian options available.Parking: Free on-site parking with plenty of parking available.

Stopped for some Indian food on our way home from the Des Moines airport and boy were we not disappointed. Possibly the best tasting Indian food on the planet. Exquisite.

My usual Indian place was closed longer than normal over this summer and I needed my Saag Aloo. I visited every last restaurant in town and finally got to this one. While Saag Aloo was not on their buffet (but is in their menu) I was so surprised by the other options. Everything I got was amazing! The vegetable samosa, and aloo chat are some of my favorites. You are now my first choice in Indian food. Even ordering delivery through Grub Hub my food came hot, fresh, and packed well. Don't let the looks of the outside of this place put you off. This is a solid gem in our community.

Went 20 miles out of the way because I wanted Indian food and this place had many good reviews so I thought buffet would be quick and I could make up some time that way. Wrong! 4:30 on a Friday night, no buffet. So, had to order 2 meals if I wanted both protein and veggies. Oh wait, pay extra for naan, nope, just settle for rice. Chicken Tikka Masala ordered medium was mediocre at best, and the equivalent of 1 small chicken breast. Aloo gobi was about the same.

The resturant interior has a great atmosphere with warm colors and nice decor. Regarding the food, the butter chicken wasn't as spicy as I hoped. Despite that, it was delicious. The paneer naan makes a nice light snack and goes great when dipped into the sauce from the butter chicken. I wouldn't mind going back to try what else the resturant has to offer.

Nobody was dining in on a Friday night, but lots of take out orders. Food was delicious but not the biggest portions.
