We ordered quite a few options to try, and all of them were mind blowing, from the sushi burrito to the hot waffle stack. Will definitely be back to try the rest :).

Great food with a great texture. Let's you eat some Iowa favorites without the meat and dairy. I’ll be honest. Even though I grew up in Iowa, I have never really liked midwestern food. Too much meat and not enough flavor. And that was before I went vegan. That said, I still really enjoyed this place. They do their crispy chickpea dishes well, and if you like tenderloins, you are in luck. The drinks are quite good, and the sides are fun.

Des Fresh is legit the best food in Des Moines!The crispy chick stack and the Mac stack and the sushirito and everything else on the menu is awesome! I also tried the iced latte and I wish I could have one every day. The food and the staff is so good, the restaurant is super clean as well.The only negative to Des Fresh is that they aren’t open every day!

It was delicious! Got the ranch chickpea patty and the tenderloin both with wedges. Then also tried the spiced tea and Thai ice coffee that has condensed coconut milk. All awesome, would have it again. Also loved the pickles.

Awesome all vegan restaurant that has delicious food options in Des Moines! I had the tofu scramble tacos and the side nuggets. I would have liked more salsa on the tacos (I usually drown mine) but they were tasty, full of flavorful spices and lovely presentation. The nuggets were crispy on the outside and a bit chewy on the inside. Not a ton of flavor on their own, but the ranch sauce served with it was rich with dill flavor that stood out which I really liked. I can't wait to go back and try more off the menu! Definitely a must try for any plant based eaters, or anyone open to trying more plant based options in the Des Moines area.

My top favorite vegan restaurant in Des Moines!Everything is made to order, super fresh.I love the waffle + spicy chick stack and wedges.I would say Des Fresh is my cheat meal that I would cheat with every day.Always a delight to visit Des Fresh because of the amazing hot food and service. I’ve been a loyal fan since their food truck days. And have made a great connection with Stephanie who is super personal and genuine.Restaurant is always clean. Love the simple and minimalist decor. Seating is plenty when you get here before the rush.Sometimes there’s a line but SERIOUSLY worth the wait!!Highly recommend to all who love fantastic unique vegan food.Even non vegans love Des Fresh as I’ve taken all my friends here and they love it!

Went to a meeting yesterday where the light snack catering was provided Fresh and I was blown away by everything offered! I wasn’t very hungry but because each item was just as delicious as the last I had had to try it all! I couldn’t get enough of the wheatgrass lemonade nor the pineapple shots! I will be recommending you every opportunity I get. P.S. you packaging was lovely, too!
