Huge shoutout to Lesly behind the bar and Brendon in the kitchen for making my Fresko experience fantastic! Lesly was incredibly friendly and attentive, and Brendon's skills in the kitchen truly shined. The shrimp in the barbie dish and the Mediterranean skewers were absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Already excited to come back and try their selection of mocktails next time!

Updating my review. I hate that the last time I went here with a date, you crammed us in the back near the bathrooms next to multiple other couples. How awkward and uncomfortable. The place wasn't busy, and you refused to seat us at a booth even though we had reservations.This place is my new favorite! The food is fresh and flavorful, the ambiance is (very, what I would describe as) "chill," and the service is wonderful. I've been here twice and the seared tuna and nachos didn't disappoint. I've also had the Fresko salad for my main dish twice now, and it is mouthwatering! Very highly recommend.

We had the mussels for appetizers and it was just divine! It’s new new favorite food! We also had shrimp tacos and spare ribs for the entree. Everything was sooo good! It was bursting with rich flavors!

Made a reservation and was seated promptly. Service was great. Ordered a filet medium rare. Instead of a nice crunchy crust, it was slightly burned on the top. Almost like they didnt have the pan hot enough so they let it sit in the pan too long. Had an acrid flavor. Maybe don't order the steak. Everything else was lovely.

Really fun environment! The waitstaff was really helpful and it was a comfortable atmosphere. The new octopus appetizer was worth the price, the sorbet a little overpriced, and the main dish good... overall not unreasonable for a nicer restaurant.

I've been here before and it's been good. But recently went and left hungry. Ordered the kale spinach Cesar salad, which was not listed as a starter. I was expecting an entree size salad for $15. However it was just some leaves with a few croutons and mushroom pieces. Quite disappointing for the price, I would consider what I got a side that I would pay no more than $10 for. What others at the table looked ok, but a burger was quite undercooked and took a long time to get one dessert even though it was not that busy in the restaurant.

We had the Beet and Goat Cheese Salad w/blackened Salmon and Tacos; both were excellent! Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The bar area and restaurant make a great venue to watch the game and enjoy company.

WOW! In Des Moines looking for fresh healthy food choices. This is the place!! Sunday night for dinner. Didn't have to wait. The server was very responsive and helpful. The menu was very limited in choices but the choices where all exceptional in description and ingredients. The drink menu had alot of choices and very good wine selections. We both ordered seared tuna and asparagusThe tuna was unbelievable and the slaw with mandarin orange and walnuts was incredible. The only weak dish was an appetizer tenderloin skewers, they where very tuff which was disappointing considering the complexity of our other dishes. Another must order is a spicy margarita that was beyond expectations. This definitely is a very unique dinning experience. If you like healthy choices with fresh ingredients then this is a must go. Make sure you read the menu so your not surprised. This is top of our go-to in the future.... and the cheesecake was very unique and I am still craving another slice!!
