My hubby and I have been big fans of Molly’s for a long time. We used to frequent the Iowa City location and were so excited when this one opened. We used them for our wedding last year and they did a fantastic job. Today I received a call to set up our our free one-year anniversary cake! I knew they offered this, but the fact that they called me 2+ weeks ahead of time to set it up is beyond impressive!

Edit - fast forward to a few years later and we chose Molly's to make our son's 1st birthday cake. It turned out fabulous and better than I even envisioned! I cannot recommend Molly's enough!===Molly’s made our wedding cake and dessert and they were such an amazing choice! The entire process was extremely easy, the tasting was so fun (I loved how everything was customizable) and the final design of the cake was exactly how we had envisioned it! Not to mention that they were extremely affordable. We had originally planned to have a 200+ wedding but due to the pandemic had to cut our numbers significantly. Molly’s were super easy to communicate with and I definitely appreciate that. Our wedding cake was peanut butter/Nutella flavored (yum!) and was so delicious and moist. We opted for a bunch of different mini-flavored cupcakes so our guests could choose their favorite flavors and honestly, they were all amazing, it’s hard to even choose my favorite. We had chocolate cupcakes with brown butter frosting, crème brulee, key lime pie, vanilla and an almond-flavored cupcake. They were even able to make a few GF cupcakes for my flower girl w/ Celiacs. I also love that they offer a free wedding cake on our 1st wedding anniversary so we won’t have to eat freezer-burned wedding cake. Can’t wait! Thanks Molly’s for making our night extra sweet!

Definitely the best cupcakes I’ve had in recent years. We bought a 6 pack and tried a variety of flavors. I loved the crème brûlée, coconut and key lime. My kids loved the s’mores and cookie dough. Definitely not just a one note cupcake… I love how the filling, icing and toppings all complement each other.

There were so many things that I couldn’t pick, so I bought two. They had like sad cupcakes that were all beat up for a dollar off. So I adopted one of those and had a lemon one. Very good very moist very sweet just what I needed. I know I’m going back there because it’s like crack. Don’t be a chump go and visit this place. It’s worth it!

My daughter in law ordered her birthday cake from mollys this year. Red velvet cake with buttercream frosting. It was fabulous! It was moist and the frosting divine. They even did her trademark dahlias!

This was my first time ordering from inside the store. I've only ordered through GrubHub until now. It's a really cool space and the swings are a fun idea! These are THE BEST cupcakes in DSM! Moist, not too sweet, great texture, and they're pretty to look at! I've tried other places since moving to DSM 2 years ago and no one else comes close!

I absolutely love Molly’s Cupcakes!!! I had my daughter’s birthday cake done and it was fabulous! Placing the order was a breeze and the cake actually turned out to be better than the photo I shared with them. The only thing that was missing was the cake toppings, but I had them arranged myself. And to my delight they didn’t work with fondants at all which made my cake super soft & scrumptious..Of course their cupcakes are out of the world too! ❤️
