In my opinion, the best Chinese food in Des Moines and all of Iowa. Only problem though, the Asian lady who owns the place doesn't like turning on air conditioning during hot weather ?Update 3/26/24: The buffet will be closing down permanently after 26 years

Wouldn’t recommend this place the food was bad no flavor and not that many options the drinks were bad too and in one of my cups had rat poop? and my uncle threw up after we ate if I was you I wouldn’t go here and don’t ever go here and I tried to get a refund but they didn’t give it to me I tried %50 but they said no then %25 but no so don’t eat here it’s disgusting?

We showed up up 30 mins after they had opened when we walked in place seemed kinda run down after we paid we went to find a seat the first booth we walked past had huge holes in the seats the ones we sat at were tore around the edges still maken them uncomfortable. When we went to get our food and start to eat I realized that the meat I chosen was cold I figured it to be bad luck until everyone at the table with different types of food said there's was cold to. We told the staff and they seemed to brush it off at first and act like they had no clue what we were saying eventually after all 4 of us spoke up and said something the staff walked away. Bout 10 mins later they brought us fresh hot food of what we had tryd to get our first round bout by that time no wanted to eat there an kinda refused. If you want to waste $16 on cold food that don't taste good this is the place for you...

This place is one of the worst places to eat that I have ever been. The food was old and smelled like it had been sitting for days. There were multiple tables with dirty dishes still on them. The cups were dirty, and the service was horrible. I paid 34$ for nothing. I would highly recommend to stay far far away from this place.

Food has definitely went down hill over the past few years. We went on a Friday night around 7:30 and we should have took it as a sign that we were the only people there. For 2 adults and a 7 year old it cost $47 and it definitely was not worth it! Not much food was even out/offered and what was wasn't very appetizing... We left hungry which was a huge disappointment since we were really excited about going.

I was completely appalled by how bad the food was there. We got our plates, which I should have never even paid until I looked first, lesson learned. Everything was cold, old, dry, fried to the crisp. NASTY. I took one bite and told my wife let's go. I told the woman at the counter that they should close cause it's old and cold, asked for a refund and she said no.. how are they still open seriously who is supporting such a filthy nasty establishment and there's gotta be some violatons cause the cases weren't all working. So now we're headed home with an empty stomach cause we just spent $34 on nothing. Oh well but please DONT EAT THIS GARBAGE

Someone needs to notify the health department about this joke of a restaurant! They charge you as you come in - this was the first red flag. The only reason I can imagine a restaurant charging before you eat, is if previous customers ate and realized it was not worth the $$$$ they charge. The place is dirty. I mean - DIRTY. Glass is smeared, obviously wiped down with a dirty towel. Dried, spilled food splattered on the buffet line. The floor is sticky and dirty. Cushion on booth seats with bare springs coming up through ripped booth seats (see photo) Chairs, tables and basically ANYTHING you "touch" in this place is "sticky"... It just screams "CLEAN ME!" Bus tub FILLED with dirty dishes left sitting throughout the entire lunch time. (see photo) Disgusting. Food was far from eatable. Some dishes smelled spoiled. Meats dried out and "Stale". We were two of only 8 people total eating at noon (lunch time) - NO RUSH and the staff sat mindlessly looking at their phones. Seriously, as a restaurant manager for years, I am amazed this place is still in business. THE HEALTH DEPT NEEDS TO VISIT THIS PLACE ASAP!!!!! I am sure they will be closed down after such a visit. Don't bother spending a nickel in this dump. Plenty of other restaurants across the street. Go where you won't get sick.....

Just ate there November 3rd 2023 and it wa horrible everything was old and gross please save your money and go eat for $16.00 a person somewhere else. I literally watched a cook bring out fresh food dump the old food inside the fresh food and just mix it in . Everything was just old. Please just close this down .
