It was a 55 degree day at end of March so we rode our bikes. 5PM on a Saturday. Place is about 2/3 Full. It is not very big. Very festive decor. I was not in the mood for a beer so I had a most excellent pina colada. My wife had a chicken burrito. She liked it and said it was not heavy. I had a couple bites and would rate it a B. I had the Vampiro Taco which I would consider more of a Tostada. It was very good with a pico topping that had lots of flavors. I also had rice and beans. They were very very good. It seems strange to rave about rice and beans but they complimented the Taco perfectly. My wife also ordered a side of Guacamole and that was very fresh like they just made it. She said it was not overly salty which can be an issue for her. Great Service as well. We will be back!!!!!

Every time I go here, I say to myself... Why don't we come here more often?! The food is fantastic and the margaritas are cheap. Our servers are always friendly and happy to make recommendations or explain menu items. Our favorites are gorditas and fish tacos. We haven't ordered anything we don't enjoy, though!

This place was super cute & modernized! The food was really good! However, I probably won't go back because they didn't have any queso! And to me tacos and queso are like peanut butter & jelly! And a Mexican place with no queso is like Chinese with no crab Rangoon! Anyway, super cute place!

First time here tonight and ordered carryout and let me tell ya something. HANDS DOWN BEST TACOS IVE EVER HAD IN THE DSM AREA!!! Ordered 5 quesatacos beef. Immediately went into a food coma just on the first bite! Definitely have a repeat customer in me no doubt! Sorry no photos bc I didn't want to put them down to snap a pic. Also server that was there he was super friendly!

We've lived on the South side for a couple of years and drive by this place all the time. We finally decided to stop tonight - great decision. Excellent and fresh food, prompt and polite service. We'll definitely be back.

Very good hand made Mexican eats. We got a pork torta and beef burrito. Expecting both those orders to be the bland, thrown together fare you might get at any other Mexican place. But alas, this food was exceptional. Very flavorful with deep spices and great textures.Highly recommend.

This is one my favorite places in Des Moines. Very friendly and nice staff, delicious food. We were huge fans of their Birria and I miss their birria pizza. Fantastic guacamole and chile rellenos!

The food here was so delicious. We had margaritas, which were some of the best I have had and I had several types of tacos and they were so fresh and delicious. Not your typical mexican fare. The atmosphere is casual and the music was a little loud for me.

Found on a long bike ride. Vampiro tacos were delicious- fresh, crunchy, lots of layers of flavor. Great service on outdoor patio & good prices. Felt & tasted very Baja-authentic. We'll be back.

The food was very tasty. I had steak tacos and an empanada. The salsa was a little different. Tasted like it had cumin which was a surprise but not bad. The service was okay. The waiter didn’t seem to know what the specials were for Cinco. I hope to try other items.

Very good authentic Mexican food. The salsa and chips are different than other Mexican restaurants but very delicious. The space is not huge but it's a neat restaurant with plenty of windows for natural light. The menu is not super huge like other Americanized Mexican restaurants. Tacos, burrito, and enchiladas are all very good.
