First I'll say this place is basically a taco truck! I love taco truck food but these ppl are charging double for tacos. I payed 4 dollars per taco but the menu said 2.50 per taco and so my total was 16 dollars and change for 3 tacos and a coke. And they only give on tortilla per taco so they fall apart. The place feels dirty and the staff is not friendly. I'll never go back and I promise. My favorite taco truck this would have cost me 10 dollars. Everything else is over priced as well. They gave me free soupe but basically paid for it.

I should have walked right back out after seeing a dirty kitchen with 2 female workers visibly eating in said dirty kitchen. Was not greeted, just handed a dirty menu. I just wanted a beef taco salad. When I asked if beef was ground or shredded, she simply said "No Se."Wow. Save yourself the trip and go to ANY other place than this disgusting rat hole. South side has amazing CLEAN taco trucks that serve amazing authentic Mexican cuisine.

The food here was excellent and very authentic. We ate the huevos rancheros (they serve breakfast all day) with eggs over medium (cooked to perfection) and the cheese enchiladas. Every side was delicious and we locked our plates clean and were very full and satisfied! Super affordable and very quick. There isn’t really anything else around - it’s in a residential area.Vegetarian options: Cheese enchiladasParking: Parking is on the street in a residential area

I ordered delivery by Door Dash, and the service was great. My order was 2 Chiles Rellenos with rice and beans. The menu didn't give an option for filling. Usually, restaurants use cheese filling. This one had 2 chunks of chicken but tastes like can chicken, definitely was real chicken meat. I didn't like the taste at all. The rice and beans were okay. The quesataco was a street taco. Tasted good. I wasn't impressed with the food here. I chose this place based on reviews.

Food is good, but service wasn’t when I went in. The person at the front had an attitude and was making faces. I understand it can be a hassle sometimes especially when it’s really busy but there’s no need to be rude.

This is one of those great little hole in the wall restraunts that you are glad you visited. Great food and great prices. Definitely make the stop if you're in the area.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the DSM area - everything is fantastic. Best torta, tacos, sopes, gorditas, salsa verde & picante, frijoles, etc. & the staff is sweet every time. Didn’t get photos this time because I ate it so quickly? Thank you!

This was an incredibly authentic experience. The food had so many layers of flavor without being too aggressive. The chips and tortillas were the best I’ve had in the area. Clearly home made with a lot of love. The taco was so juicy and perfectly put together, I wish I had ordered more. Don’t let the appearance of the restaurant fool you. This hole in the wall is probably the best Mexican in the area if you prefer authentic food over Americanized cuisine. Will definitely come back.

Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in a long time, and they don't even sell alcohol!

Not sure how I've passed this place up for so many years, it was delicious and felt like I was in someone's kitchen eating home cooked, authentic Mexican food
