I can't rate the service or atmosphere because I ordered delivery BUT it kinda seems like the food was lacking a bit. I don't know if it's because of potential changes they made to the ingredients or if they keep forgetting to clean the grill. But my burgers had a bunch of burnt tasting black stuff and tasted gritty and weird. My fillet o fish had to have been sitting to taste how it did as well and they sadly forgot my fries. Not a big fan but eh it's McDonald's. What you expect anyway?. You can't not be missing items after going to McDonald's ?

Worst McDonald's around, constantly messing up my orders even ones that the only change was only ketchup. The food is consistently stale and cold would rather drive 20 minutes rather than go here.

Not sure what this store has about putting napkins in bags, but we are 3/3 on not receiving any in our drive thru orders. You know we're stuffing those hot fries in our mouths immediately. Just give us the napkins!!

They’re OVERLY unsanitary the woman never have their hair tied up in buns so I wasn’t surprised to find hair in my food! I never see gloves on them and my burger tasted like someone’s salty unwashed hands. And on TOP of everything the service is TERRIBLE the workers are VERY disrespectful and have attitude problems. I will never be coming back to this McDonald’s. They genuinely disgust me

i never write reviews but my experience at this mcdonald’s was terrifying. we ordered 30 nuggets and ALL of them were undercooked, the middle was mushy as if you were biting in to oatmeal. this was for ALL nuggets, they were also all cold as if they haven’t even been cooked. don’t think i’ll give this location another chance.

The play area is really cold. The last few times I brought my daughter they would forget her drink or mine. The women's bathroom one stale didn't have any toilet paper. Our food was cold today.Parking: Ok parking

This McDonald's always seems to never have anything. The food tastes like it was reheated.
Absolutely the worst. Took forever to get my meal. Meal was cold. Soda had no carbonation in it. The employees there did not give a care. It looked like. Hands down. Worst McDonald's I've been to. Lost a customer for life.

Raccoon Valley Partners is a McDonalds franchisee with multiple locations in Des Moines. There are other franchisees locally who aren't included in this review. Whenever I get snotty service or screwed-up orders at a local McDonalds, I can just about bet it'll be at a Raccoon Valley outlet. I'm sure I could get a canned corporate response if I asked them why, but that won't help you or me when choosing where to spend our money. That's why after this latest half-hour fiasco I've decided not only to post this, but to drive ANYWHERE else if I need my Mcdonalds. The ONLY good thing I can say here is that it's marginally better than the 30th and Forest location. Thanks for reading this. TLDR; AVOID RACCOON VALLEY MCDONALDS.
