Nice place. Came in on a Thursday evening. Easy to find a spot at the bar. I ordered a malibu and diet coke - I was given a very large cup so the ratio of malibu to the pop was off and it only tasted like the pop and not the mixed drink.

My go to for comfort food which is mostly this sausage sandwich, I’m 100% Italian and have consumed almost every sausage sandwich in Des Moines, this one is the best to me… because it’s different! Will love you always and forever!

I now have a job cooking for this family at Norwood vill Inn and they took me in and treat me like family, I enjoy working with everyone and we all work together as a team. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a cook here.
Love their Italian sausage sandwiches. They can get kind of busy on Fridays and karaoke night, but food is always fast and hot. Kitchen closes between 9-10 most nights. Fun little dive bar to have a drink in while waiting for your order.

Definitely not the best place to go for food unless you like your food raw. Not to mention the bartender can't make any drink you ask for. When I did get a drink it came in a dirty glass. The bathrooms were dirty and it smelled like sewer throughout the whole place.
