I got a gyro sandwich and the smallest potato salad plate ever for $18.00 the food was good but it was t worth $20 at least make the potato salad bigger pls and thank you. I won’t be going back. There’s plenty of places that has good gyro and extras for way cheaper. I think because it’s a hidden small business and they’re trying to make money but come on. You just lost a real one. Sorry

Great service and wonderful ambiance, but we thought our dinner rice plates - chicken schwarma and falafel were disappointing for the price. Plain white rice, with no seasoning, was a surprise compared to other places we’ve been . Falafel dinner was only pieces of torn apart falafel, not whole falafel balls, which felt unfair. No parsley anywhere. Just a spoonful of hummus. We’ve had better schwarma in other cities we’ve lived - more craggy and crisp, while this was a marinated style. The pita was good, and I don’t need a whole round of it , so the two triangle pieces that came with the meal were enough. But for the price ($16 and $18 a plate!) we felt these entrees were watered down and meager.

My husband and I went here a couple weeks ago for my birthday. I was bummed that there was separate menus for lunch and dinner. Would have loved to try kebabs or something but couldn’t…..all of my food has great flavor.
Absolutely fantastic food! Will definitely be going back soon. Both the shawarma and gyros were delicious. Can't recommend highly enough!

This little gem is amazing. Order the Gyro Rice dish, you will not be disappointed. The chicken shawarma is amazing as well! Wish they were available on GrubHub or in Mondays! The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere takes you to a place that is far beyond the East Village of Des Moines! Go check it out!
