My lulu and I really enjoyed paws and pints. It was a bit overwhelming at first but he always takes a little bit to adjust and get comfortable. Make sure to download the app and vaccine records before you get there. Had a couple cold ones and a few hours in the sun

I’m not sure when they began this policy, but only members can enter on the weekends. I no longer live in Des Moines. I come back to visit family, but I can only do that on weekends. It doesn’t make financial sense to have an actual membership as I do not live here and cannot frequently use that membership. Instead of being able to use a day pass when visiting family, they want a $1100/year membership or whatever it is.

I was here with my dog around Easter, and let me just say that the entire place smells heavily of dog piss. I wasn't impressed.

The price shocked us at first, I'll be honest. When you experience it though, you understand. The atmosphere is electric! The kids loved seeing all the different types of dogs/breeds. Well staffed and pet owners were very respectful of their own dogs. I highly recommend it!!

**UPDATE**I remain committed to Paws & Pints for my dog daughter Lyla. The folks truly care about her and every dog. Once too anxious for me to leave her even at home, Lyla runs into Paws & Pints. She basically jumps into the arms of staff and goes right up to everyone. She would have never done this before. I go to work each day knowing Lyla is treated just as well as I treat her. If you ever have questions, please contact me directly. I fully support Paws & Pints because I know they operate with nothing but love.**ORIGINAL**My lovely dog daughter Lyla started going to Paws & Pints daycare because of severe separation anxiety when I would leave for work. Within two weeks of attending daycare, she is an entirely different dog when it comes to socializing. She enjoys being around other dogs, has more confidence when I am away, and is in better health overall. The daycare staff members are the greatest! They instill confidence to the point I do not worry about Lyla being away from me each day. From the moment we walk in the door to the minute I pick her up, Lyla is so happy to be with her human friends! As a helicopter parent, I only want the best for Lyla and Paws & Pints does just that and more! They treat her with such care and I consider them all my friends. Truly amazing people!

Our first time at Paws and Pints and we didn’t know what to really expect! Our pup, Daisy-May is a pretty timid, but friendly girl. She’s a little over a year old, and she’s been in our lives only since this past September, but we thought to try and get her out of her comfort zone and see if socialization could benefit her.She was definitely a bit timid at first, but as the night progressed she truly came into her own! We were so happily surprised!!!The service at Paws and Pints is also wonderful. We arrived and unfortunately had forgotten Daisy’s immunization records, so we did have to drive back home and come all the way back to enter. We were so thankful the front desk rep was patient with us during this time. The attendants in Paws and Pints are also very attentive. Although it was our first time there, I thought it’d be best to have an extra eye on Daisy, but in the future, I feel like I could be laxer enough to let my dog roam without my extra supervision. The food was great too, a little pricey, but for bar food I was impressed.Overall, this place has a wonderful atmosphere. This is a place where if you love dogs and a cold drink, you’re absolutely in luck.

Great spot to meet women. Women LOVE puppies and if you have one well the conversation flows.

My dog has been pretty shy and started opening up once we came to Paws n Pints! Nice relaxed atmosphere, bartender man was rude to me twice, but that was my only negative interaction!Dog-friendliness: The dog attendants keep an eye out for trouble and help keep the peace!
