Made sure I was able to eat with my food allergies. Very friendly., Great environment. Perfect music in the background. Very generous on food to cost.

Cavatelli was perfect. Decent prices. Took awhile for food but I understand they are short staffed. I would go back. Tenderloin was also good. Big portions of food. Drink prices were pretty standard. Good size televisions inside too.

Sambetti's was my escape while visiting my Dad in ICU at Mercy hospital. It was a very intense and emotional time for me and having a place to go and get my head on straight was so very necessary. The three times I went that week, the bartenders were so accommodating and created just the environment I needed. My granny used to go here over thirty years ago and not much has changed since then I think. Which I love! Although it's a real "bar" bar, they quickly made a yummy drink recommendation when I wanted something fruity and foo foo. And they nailed it with a Moscow mule made with raspberry vodka. The BLT was delicious. Which means something because it's easy to make a bad BLT but this one had just the right ratio of ingredients and it came together perfectly. The cottage cheese must have been from Anderson Erickson because it was rich and creamy. The biggest surprise was the broccoli cheese soup that had just been made. It hit the spot and I got it the next day as well. The last visit, I took my boyfriend making his first visit to IA. We shared the Sambetti grinder with a side of onion rings. He now understands the beauty of Graziano sausage and Sambetti knows how to use it well. A crusty roll and melty cheese are the perfect setting for the sausage. I do spoil that boyfriend of mine. Hopefully we'll make it back soon under happier circumstances but thank you Sambetti's for helping me get through this difficult time.

Hot sausage sandwich & onion rings. Had my daughter pick them up for me. Sandwich bun was hard on top & soggy on the bottom. Peppers on the sandwich were mush. The batter was pretty much non-existent on the onion rings. If there was some batter, it fell off when you picked up the onion ring. I had several globs of what I thought was an onion ring ball. Pretty sure one was a chunk of chicken! ??

Slowly getting into the groove of how I remember this place. I'm a regular customer again. Great place for beer, pizza, and sandwiches.

We have been to Sambettis twice the past two weekends, my husband absolutely loves the steak and eggs breakfast on the weekend brunch menu! I see this becoming a frequent place of ours.

Very bad service didn't get our order correct one of my friends ordered something without certain items on it that he was allergic to and until we had mentioned something about it they weren't going to take any money off for there mistakes. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

First time there. Cool place. Fun, helpful staff. I think our waitress' name was Kianna and she was great. Rude patrons were very kindly asked to exit. I was impressed.

Long Island Teas, Onion Rings, great sandwiches! A clean dive bar vibe, outdoor seating available. Perfect!

$5.00 mug of beer is this place's saving grace right now. This place is starting to go down hill. New management is poor, kitchen can't cook a decent chicken wing. Not enough of staff. Came last Friday. Whole place was being run by 2 people.Gotta step up their game.Good thing Tim and Alison are still running the bar half the time. Best employees here.

Food quality in spite of short staff at front of house. Very friendly staff, helpful and made great conversation. friendly atmosphere and good place to brunch on a Saturday mid morning.
