Great food for very reasonable prices. Servers do not got drinks which is not my normal, but easy to get a cocktail nonetheless.

From being asked for a tip when I order, to the assembly line service, the whole experience just left me cold.$7.50 worth of fine-print upcharges further chilled my enthusiasm.I guess maybe I'm just getting too old to find much joy in food for hire. And that's all this is.

Large BBQ facility with a bar on premises. I had a 4 piece fish and chips and big Bob had lasagna...outstanding! Fish was crispy and fresh and lasagna was excellent! Highly recommend ?

The woman preparing my to-go order was holding a trash can for a customer and then started touching my food. Basic hygiene practices would be nice. Won’t be coming back.

Best BBQ in town in my opinion love everything I've tried.
The price was good. I tried the jalapeño cheddar sausage and the burnt ends. The sausage was very good, but I felt that the burnt ends lacked flavor. The cornbread was excellent. The mac and cheese was good also.
Best BBQ in greater Des moines area ? and side items are great

Very friendly people here. My first time ordering and they gave me a rundown on the menu. Later they checked up on me to see if I was enjoying it and to give me some bbq sauce recs. Fantastic ribs, tender and amazing. They've won a lot of bbq awards and it shows in the food. Definitely coming back if the opportunity comes.

Enjoyed date night at Smokey Ds. Good food and nice atmosphere.
We go bi weekly for past 5 months. Food is great and the service matches. The new corn bread they have might be the best around and the meats are actually moist and flavorful compared to a few other BBQ places around. The whole pit for a group of 3 or 4 gives a great variety with enough food to Still feed everyone. But hey try it all and see for yourself.Parking: The lot across the side street is also for this location. Have never seen it with both lots fullKid-friendliness: My 2 year old goes with us every time. Staff will joke with her and go out of there way if they even think she needs anything.
