This truck is located in the parking lot of Daylight Donuts, behind East High School. I have ordered both the papusa and tacos on two different occasions. By far, this is the best taco you can get in Des Moines. Great prices, and friendly staff. You will not be disappointed! Get out there and show your support!

Taqueria Las Palmas is located in the parking lot of the Star gas station. It is directly across from 4021 E 14th Street. The taco truck doesn't have a sign so it may be easy to miss. But make sure to stop by here because the food is really good. I ordered the carne taco, pastor taco, and a squash papusa (similar to a stuffed pancake). I really enjoyed the papusa. It came with a salsa cole slaw but I thought the papusa was very good on its own. The pastor taco was a little on the salty side but the carne taco was very flavorful and the meat was tender. I'd definitely check this place out again, especially for the papusa.
