We are passing by Des Moines heading to Chicago and we decided to dropped by the Wendy’s drive thru in Merle Hay. The drive thru Lady couldn’t hear the first order so she said, “Oh my god” so loud that my husband and I looked at each other, idk if she realizes the intercom is on but that is very rude. Never going there again. Very rude customer service!

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever experienced. Employee signed into the intercom when I ordered, they were cussing about me when I was waiting for my food and they argued with me over wanting my receipt even though I asked for it when I paid. I will never eat here again after that, I work customer service too so I know that the job can suck but they did far lower then the bare minimum. I didn't even order that much, just two meals for me and my spouse. Never eat at this location.

This Wendy’s needs an update. Desperately. However, the workers were extremely pleasant and efficient, and my food was good. The “bonus” of this visit was that I left my purse there. We were almost 2 hours away when I realized my mistake. I called and they assured me my purse was in the manager’s office. When I arranged for my daughter to pick it up, they were sympathetic and quick to deliver it to her. Everything was intact, down to the last cent. Thank you to the workers on Sunday morning 11-12-23. You were great!
Made an Ubereats order with them and they lied to my driver saying I cancelled the order and then they cancelled my order because 1 item I wanted they didn’t have. They could have refunded the one item or asked if I wanted a substitute. I waited over an hour for the order too.

Moved here from Ca for almost two years and I have gained almost 20 lbs so a double cheeseburger without buns has been my go to lately. Decided to order at this location for the first time. I’ve tried this menu where else and it never came out like this. The staff made it so perfect!!!! Thank you so much. Will be back again!

The fresh beef slogan is just that. The hamburger resembled a spread-on meet with blisters, and the fries are surely avoidable. Adding to the miserable food the dirty facilities and trash everywhere makes it easy to understand the absence of customers. This was a first and last for
